Arrival Story: Our good neighbors adopted Roco from a nearby shelter. We were very good friends with our neighbors, so I was allowed to hop the wall and play with him and take him for walks. Unfortanatly, like some owners do, they get tired of the dog they got and want a new one. They didn't make a full comitment to Roco, they didn't follow though with Roco, so they brough home a Pit Bull(yes a Pit Bull... a SWWEEETTT Pit Bull.) So time went on and one day I was out playing with two of their dogs, Roco was a year and the Pit Bull, Buddy, was about a year as well. They asked me if we would like to have him for free since they we going to give him to the shelter for free. So we thought about it for 2 to 3 days and next thing I knew, Roco was waiting in my yard for his dinner. Unfortanatly, again Buddy wasn't a puppy anymore, so they surrendered him to a SHELTER!!!! My parents said that if we had more room, we would have taken Buddy too. They wouldn't be happy their in a small yard anyway. So we made that comitment to stay with our dog even when they are very old, then get another on. Or let them have another companion. Like I learned from them, dogs can get ignored when there is a new dog that brings so much excitment, you tend to igore the dog or spend a few hours with the one you have seen constatly. Then "when it's time", you regret it. So now Roco is 4 or 5,waiting for his meal so better go feed him and his buddy, Watson.

My momma is thinking about enrolling me and my furiend Watson, in a doggy day camp were we get to play in a pack of dogs and be pampered. BOL Watson will also be groomed there so he will smell and look pretty because he has kind of long fur. Normally, my mom grooms us, but to do both of us and do it correctly, it litarally takes her 3-4 hours. That includes bath and the full groom with hair dryer and ear cleaning and things like that.
So, my mom likes to have breakes from us and not having to worry about what we are doing, so we go there and get to play with other dogs for either a half a day or a full day. I think we are starting once the weather warms up so we can also swim while we are there. We love that place. I am hoping we can go there 3 times a week and maybe once sleep there(that is when they go out of town.) My momma read the info on the places website and BOY does that look fun. Boy, I can not wait.
I will let you all know how the first day went and how Watson handled his first gromming experiance in a real groomer and how I did as well.
