We have to watch her because she eats anything.

Elway is restricted to the back yard until her wound completely heals.

Arrival Story:
We found Elway at the Franklin County animal control in North Carolina. She was immediately friendly and had such a strong personality. We could not take her home however for a week as they hold the dogs in case they are missing from a family.
We visited her several times during her captivity.
Elway is tough as nails, as evidenced by a gash she had at the shelter from when they found her under a car. The gash goes from her lower right leg to over her back. It was pretty bad, but she is healing fine. She does all the normal high energy puppy activities, injury or not.
The wound is turning into a pretty big scar as it heals, but that is cool, she is a pirate dog, arghghgh!
She has now settled in fine and shows no emotional scars from her obviously tough young life, but she does enjoy having the good life now. Can anyone say spoiled?
BTW, she has officially taken over the roost, he he.

I am so happy today!!!!!! I have finally grown enough to wear my first Denver Broncos Collar!! Now I can look like my humans during football season. Me, Eban, and Faith, All in Broncos Colors.
