Alright, so it's been a few months since they made up another blog. But that's okay. Not like we have fans.
Anyway, my recent troubles have been flea allergies. I had to go to the vet and get prescribed a low dose of prednisone. It made most of my itching disappear and everything seemed to be going great. Well, that is until the side-effects took hold.
Mom found out I had been urinating in the bathroom and drinking a lot of water. She was worried for a little while but thought it might have been a fluke. The next day, she found more, not like I could help myself. Well, finally she stopped having me take my medicine and when mom and dad went to pick up our heartworm meds, she asked about the medication I was on and found out it was the medicine and was relieved. She thought I was having some sort of kidney problem.
That's about it for now. Oh, as for the fireworks, I didn't think they were scary -- Bebop is just a sissy.

I'm so glad, mom's been taking me out for 30 minute walks nearly every morning. I missed those alot when the cold weather, snow, and sleet hit. It's just been too cold before to go for walks.
I'm still not allowed to sniff at the rats. Mom and dad are scared that I'll try to eat them since I'm so tense when they're out. They say my whole body language changes drastically. I go from being mellow to tense and on the edge.

Today was Bebop's first birthday party. Mom and dad went all out for it too. They got her a cake, presents, birthday hats, and even balloons. She really hates the balloons though, she ran around growling at those.
We both got these huge bones! They're called mammoth bones, and they're so meaty and yummy. Anyway, we wore the hats and played the birthday party charade, and the cake. The cake was so good. I wish we could get some more. They got the cake from a downtown store called Bark N Bites.
Also, a few days ago mom and dad got me a Christmas Sweater. It's wool and has a cap attached to it. Then after getting my sweater, I had to go to the vets to get a bump on my ear looked at. We still don't know what it is, but the doctor said it should clear up. I hope so.

It snowed...again. What a miracle? I hate snow. It gets stuck in my furry paws and all over my face.
Then, mom cut off my beard!!! That is the source of a man's power!!! She said it was all matted and crusted with saliva. So she just got rid of it. Just like that?

I need a bath so bad!!! I have dead skin and it itches. >.< It hurts. Hopefully I can get one tonight or tomorrow at the pet shop's dog wash station. Sounds fun, huh? Apparently people can come in and tortu---bathe their dogs. They can use the store's shampoos and conditioners also. This actually works better for mom cause we don't have a tub.
Other than that, bad time at grandma Debbie's, but you can read about that in Bebop's page. Also, Christmas is coming up and mom and dad said that they will decorate. They want a small Christmas tree and they want us to have stockings. Glittered stockings. With our names on them.
Today was a good day. Mom and dad took me for a car ride and I got to stick my head out the window.

The holidays. The time of year when all masters all over the world give us (the dogs) leftovers that they could not finish. Especially the children. Why? Kids love to feed dogs. It's universal.
Yesterday when getting my claws done, I got to sniff around to pick out some "stocking stuffers"??? I guess that means we get stuff. Which really means, I get something with my name on it but Bebop will end up stealing it anyway.
Last night I had such bad gas that I woke mom up! BOL! She ran me off the bed and into my crate and deodorized the room.

Today mom and dad sent me off to the groomers. I was left there in a small cage nearly all day (except for the grooming). I missed mom and dad so much and was SO happy when they came to pick me up. They were excited to see me as well! Mom loves my bandanna. It's Halloween themed; which makes me festive I guess.
Anyway, they love my haircut. It makes me feel better and now I don't have that pound smell anymore.

Well dad and mom set up a hair appointment for me next Friday. They want me completely shaved down (not bald!) except for my furry feet, tail, and fuzzy face. Mom is also requesting...a poodle beard...-sigh-. She wants to "enhance" the beard I have right now. But a poodle beard?! Come on! Mom thinks I'll look "cute" and everything else that she can think of that's a girly word.
I'm having a bit of a problem with flea allergies because mom and dad catch me constantly digging and talked to the groomer lady about it and they told them to Frontline me ASAP. They told mom and dad that terriers are more prone to being allergic. They did complement mom and dad on the flea spray that they bought for me and Bebop, and thinks that I should spread the word...it's called Flee, Flea! Back to the allergies...I itch so bad, and get in trouble when I go to scratch.
Also, they found a weak spot for me. Mom was just goofing around and rolled up a newspaper, but didn't know just how much I don't like those things. I wish they didn't see that weakness cause now they use that to their advantage. They don't hit me with it, but it makes a LOUD sound and it scares me so bad!

Mom said that we were seriously lacking in updates and she got onto me about "if you're going to have a website.." She lectures too much. Shuddap mom. Sheesh.
That little vermin, Lewis got to come out of the cage today. I was SO close to victory today too! Until dad crated me for the duration of Lewis getting free time. It isn't fair. Why should I have to be crated? I'm much smarter and bigger. The rat should stay in his cage.
So let's see....what else? Oh, mom and dad came home with a jacket for me for the cold chilly mornings. I look like a little admiral in it. It makes me feel like a conqueror. And I LIKE that feeling. Bebop looks like my little lady friend in her jacket too. It makes her look very fashionable.
Dad and mom have been talking about getting me a haircut soon. I don't know why when it's getting COLD outside. Why didn't they give me one when they first got me out of that tiny smelly kennel? Why wasn't I properly groomed up then? Who knows with these humans. I don't understand a single one of them but they do tend to give the best scratches in the world.

Mom's got me and Bebop back in training. Grrr. At least we get yummy treats out of it though. Today mom started teaching me how to sit up. It's an easy trick with a simple idea it's just sooooo hard to actually hoist myself up to do it. She's also got me learning "crate" better. I like that one cause my crate is nice and cozy and dark. Not like Bebop's! Not dark at all. I don't know why she likes it so much.
On Thursday night dad and mom brought us back a whole bag of goodies! We got a blue dinosaur toy and a big colorful tug rope. I really liked the bones we got though. I didn't get a new collar either like Bebop because it was too big and I have a problem with slipping out of my collars and running through the neighborhood. Mom says I HAVE to work on that. If I don't then she says I wont be allowed the fun and freedom like Bebop.

Mom didn't walk me this morning...she knows better than to NOT walk me! I'm sure she'll do it tomorrow morning. Bebop keeps trying to think that she can take all my bones and toys away and she's going to get nipped over it. I hope I don't have to do it but I might have too.

So yesterday we went to this new park that I've never been to before. They had some geese and ducks there! They were so interesting, I had to have one! I tried to go into the water to get one but dad wouldn't let me in there. I was going to grab one and bring it back to mom and dad. Then they could be proud of me! Not that they already aren't. They think I'm a good dog. It feels good to hear someone say those words about me after so much time being alone.
The bad part was that I had to get a bath when I got home. I didn't like that, but it could have been worse.

Once again I'm at work with mom. It's alright, I get to sleep and eat whatever she cooks, which isn't half bad at all. Just a little boring though.

Yesterday me and Bebop got to go to a new pet store. We got loaded up into Bebop's crate for the trip there. Bebop though wimped out (like usual) and had to be put up front. She's such a drama queen. To think I have to share my space with such a whiny little runt. Anyway, it gave me more room to sleep on the way there so I can't really complain. Just would have been nice if I could have looked out the window too.
When we got there, there was so many new smells! I smelled animals and bones and food! EVERYWHERE. It's like a Disney Land for dogs! I did get in trouble for peeing on a bag of pet food. I'm just making sure that no one else comes around thinking this place is theirs! That was all! Why can't owners ever understand that kind of thing anyway? All you do is try to mark something for yourself and you get in trouble. I'll never understand humans though.
My favorite part though, was the birds. They were so close and I could stick my nose clean in and get a better smell! The other animals had interesting smells too and I tried to reach them but they were too high up. At the end of the day we left with a big squeaky carrot, tennis ball, and 2 squeaky rubber toys. Those things are so loud and Bebop LOVES to constantly play with those in particular.
Also though, dad made us new tags! It feels nice to be tagged.

Only a fool would hang around the people off their leash. Yes, Bebop is the fool. I guess she doesn't know what real dogs do -flexes-. We run off, roll in trash, and eat things from the garbage. That's a real dog! Anyway, I watched her just run around and catch frisbees. She seemed to have fun, I don't thing I'll ever get the hang of the whole hanging around the people thing. I know it would make them happy, and they did break me out of that kennel.
Now the walk. The walk was exhilarating. Missy wasn't too bad of a meet either. She was pretty fun. A little hyper, but fun. Now, back to that walk. All the smells of nature and wild animals and previous dogs before. It was like a olfactory (nose) haven! Of course, dad got mad cause I had to make a few pit stops. What's a boy to do?

Tonight I went to work with mom. I don't remember much of what happened because I pretty much snoozed the whole time. I do remember mom giving me some spaghetti though! Mom is a real good cook! I really like to hang around mom whenever we're at work so I didn't mind having to stay in the kitchen with her.
I did get to surprise mom though! She actually heard me bark! I heard something outside I didn't like, mom said that it was just a train and I had nothing to worry about. However, mom did say that I actually proved that I was a good watch dog cause we heard someone walking around in the parking lot across the street and I barked again. Mom said after that, that she felt a little bit more safe having me down at night.
Then mom did something funny! She got us locked out! I thought it was pretty funny because mom has NEVER done that ever! So we checked the side door but that was locked as well. Then we went to another door, knocked and when no one answered mom opened the door-unlocked! Finally!
Well I think we're just going to chill out now and watch some tv.

Bebop said that I needed to update tonight. So let's see...I guess my teeth aren't looking good. Dad and mom were talking about setting up a dental appointment, they're teeth aren't looking good either. I don't see them setting up dental appointments. They gave me a bone hoping that it whitens my teeth up a little bit and blocks some of that tartar and plaque and other stuff like that.
Today I had an upset tummy. I didn't eat too much breakfast before our morning walk. I did finish my bowl later though, I just needed to sleep some more. They call me lazy, I'm not lazy I'm just lacking ambition. Also they had the nerve to make fun of me today saying that I acted and looked like an old man. They say I walk around the apartment like an old man in slippers and that my eyebrows are big and fuzzy like an old mans.

Last night momma left us alone for awhile. She was so happy when she came home though! She took us over to see dad and outside there was a big bug making the most ridiculous noises. So I ate him. =)

Yesterday they came and got me, and when I saw them I couldn't help but wiggle with excitement and joy. They put a collar and leash on me, opened the gate and I jumped right in the truck. I was ready to go! Mom had the window down so I stuck my head out and waiting for the ride to begin.
Upon arrival, they showed me off to some people which didn't bother me one bit. Then I got to saw my new digs. It isn't big or anything, but it beats that kennel. Now the best part, the food. The food, is yummy...and mom and dad like to add people treats to it too.
Now, to explain Bebop. Bebop is cute and fun, but overly attached at the hip to me. I like the attention, but it's kind of annoying. Now that I've been here for a day she's actually grown on me and fun to play with. Especially the tug game and keep away. Maybe mom will put up the video sometime.
This morning mom fed us, but I wasn't hungry and mom didn't know why, so she added some Bebop Soup to my food. I still didn't want it though, so mom tossed it and said I'd get some food tonight and that maybe then I'd adjust to the new schedule.
Also, I got mom off her butt and out of breath cause I escaped out the door. She chased me for a few minutes until I decided to come when I was called. She seemed so mad. I tried to stay good the rest of the day and slept by her on the couch.

Tomorrow my life improves 10 fold. I'll be out of the pen and be fed yummy food and get attention whenever I want it and be able to play with another dog. I hope they come and get me as soon as the place opens.

So apparently I'm going to be adopted on Friday by a couple that came in yesterday. They have another dog too and she seems to be fun! We ran around in circles with each other yesterday.
My story? Well I was brought in as a stray because I got loose out of my old neighbor's yard. I'm sure not going to do that again! Well my owners came looking for me and found me at the shelter. What they didn't know was there was going to be a fee to be reclaimed. I guess they didn't want to fork over any dough for me...
That's okay, cause the girl human, I guess my new mom said that I was going to have the best of everything. An apartment to rule over with Bebop, good food (she likes to cook for Bebop), a big soft bed to roll in, neighbors cats to chase, and morning walks. They said I was pudgey. Hmph! They didn't look so hot themselves either though.
Today the boy human, dad, kept picking up my food bowl when I was trying to eat out of it! Rude! You don't see us stealing their--okay bad choice of words. But then mom rubbed my belly....let me tell you, heaven was never closer. She said to wait until she had nails...if I was a cat (which I'm glad I'm not!) I'd have purred.
