Arrival Story:
My mom wanted a companion dog. And after doing research on many breeds, She decided to get a Shih Tzu. Then the hunt began for her perfect puppy. She looked on the internet for days looking for the puppy she wanted to add to our family. She decided on a puppy 5 hours away. Well, she looked one more time, thats when she found me and my brother and sisters. After dad called my breeder, he informed mom that there was only one puppy left. My mom had to decide if she wanted to take a chance and go visit me to see if I would be the one to complete her family. Or did she want to wait till she visited the puppy she thought was the one she yearned for. So they decided to go and visit me. My mom took one look at me and held me in her arms. She new in her heart I was the one that would complete her family. My mom has no second thoughts once she seen me. To my dads surprise mom told him she wanted to take me home and she wasnt leaving without me. Mom and dad both new in their hearts I was the new baby of the family. And I new I had a new family. I didnt even cry or whine not one time, not the way home or even the first night with my new family. My mom tells everyone its as if I was there waiting on her to go pick me up and take me home. And I am living happier ever after

Hi friends!
Just wanted to let everyone know I have a new brother. His name is Banjo.

How my new brother came home:

My mommy, daddy, and my human sisters were all getting ready to go. I just new we were going somewhere! I was excited and couldnt wait to get into the truck!! I love taking road trips!

It started off as a regular road trip. Boy daddy was driving a long way, We stopped at a new place I never been before so I made sure I pooped and tinkled before we left thus way if I ever stop again I will surly know ! We then load the truck again and daddy kept driving more and more. I didnt mind I love spending time on mommys lap. ( the best thing about road trips is Mommys gives me a really good massage every time!) Well daddy finally stops driving, and I get to get out to run around a little bit more. There were All kinds of different scents! I couldnt figure it out. So I just keep sniffing... I stayed outside with my sisters. While mommy and daddy went inside a weird house. I've never been here before. A few minutes later mommy and daddy come out with a lady. She seemed to be very nice. We'll then I had to get put up in the crate while everyone got to go inside. They seemed to be in there for a eternity. I know it really wasnt that long it just seemed like a really long time. I dont get put in the crate very much so when I do it time goes by so slow. Finally I see everyone coming out the house again. And my human sister is holding "something" very small in her arms. Hummm what could that be. We all get situated and daddy finally gets me out. Mommy now has "something" in her arms now. Daddy takes me to mommy and I sniff and sniff mommy. Humm whats that smell, smells like a puppy, and it is a puppy. WHAT !!!! @@@ WHAT IS MOMMY DOING HOLDING A PUPPY !! I'm her baby, what are they thinking, dont they love me anymore??? This is just too much for me to handle. I dont want to be in mommys lap! I staying with my daddy, He didnt carry the puppy! He still loves me! So needless to say daddy is driving again. Im in his lap now! My sisters have the puppy in the back seat. And I'm very upset at my mommy for carrying that puppy! I didnt even want mommy to give me one of my favorite treats. I must be very upset I even spit my favorite treat out! Its going to be a long trip back home! Good thing we stopped by my human brothers house. I needed to have my me time. So I got out the truck and went inside. I new my princess Audra will be there to play with me and love me. And she did she made me fell alot better. Mommy is being very very extra nice and trying to hug me and give me kisses. So I finally give in. As long as I dont see her carry the puppy. Well we finally make it back home. I think that had to be the worst trip ever. Mommy says its going to take some time for me to accept having Banjo in the house with me. And once I get to know the little puppy she hopes we will be the best brother and sister ever. Maybe I will love Banjo just as they love me....

I will be sure to keep everyone posted ........

From time to time, people tell me, "lighten up,
it's just a dog," or, "that's
a lot of money for just a dog." They don't
understand the distance
traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for
"just a dog."

Some of my proudest moments have come about with
"just a dog." Many hours
have passed and my only company was "just a dog,"
but I did not once feel

Some of my saddest moments have been brought about
by "just a dog," and in
those days of darkness, the gentle touch of "just a
dog" gave me comfort
and reason to overcome the day.

If you, too, think it's "just a dog," then you will
probably understand
phrases like "just a friend," "just a sunrise," or
"just a promise."

"Just a dog" brings into my life the very essence of
friendship, trust, and
pure unbridled joy.

"Just a dog" brings out the compassion and patience
that makes me a better

Because of "just a dog", I will rise early, take
long walks and look
longingly to the future. So for me and folks like
me, it's not "just a dog"
but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the
future, the fond
memories of the past, and the pure joy of the

"Just a dog" brings out what's good in me and
diverts my thoughts away from
myself and the worries of the day.

I hope that someday they can understand that it's
not "just a dog", but the
thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being
"just a man or woman."
So the next time you hear the phrase "just a dog",
just smile -- because
they "just don't understand."
