First Four Days in my Forever Home

The drive from my foster-mom's house in Kentucky to my forever home was a really long one. We drove and drove and drove, got out of the car to stretch our legs and even stayed overnight in a hotel. We really bonded into a family during that time. When we walked into our home on Sunday, my big human sister was there to meet me.....she loves me too. My cat sister is still afraid of me, but I'm being good and not chasing her.

We all went to the vet on Monday and are a healthy bunch. I've even got my new license......I'm official!!

On Tuesday we ran some errands and I noticed that there are quite a few dog neighbors nearby. Oh boy.....I've got friends. I really haven't been eating my usual crunchy dog food. My new dad boiled up some chicken and rice and put just enough of it in my bowl with the crunchy food so that it lightly coated the doggie stuff with the human stuff. I'm eating just fine now.

Wednesday we stayed home and Dad worked on his car. I'm still eating well, but can't understand why Mom & Dad want me to take care of business first thing in the morning in our back yard instead of taking a nice walk. I'll keep trying though. Mom has me on Dogster today. I hope I make lots of new friends here.
