Arrival Story:
Timber passed away peacefully on July 14, 2006 after suffering liver failure resulting from a large abdominal tumor. We loved her too much to allow her to suffer through a painful post-op recovery period with an extremely poor prognosis.
Timber was one of a litter of five little pups. Her Daddy was 1/2 Chesapeake Bay Retriever and 1/2 Chocolate Lab. Her Mommy was 100% Chocolate Lab. She was the smallest of the litter, but grew into 91 pounds of highly muscled lab! Got her from a hospital co-worker in Lake Tahoe.
Bio:
Timber lived in some fun and interesting places: Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Boulder, San Francisco Peninsula, and, finally, in the heart of the Bluegrass Region -- Lexington KY.
