A day in the life of ol Jake

Here we go again.

I remember once a long time ago, I was the only doggie. I had my humans all to myself, it was my couch, my bed, my mommy. First they bring in this cat that hates me, then they bring in a yellow Lab puppy, gosh he has so much energy and thinks I am young and wants to wrestle, this old boy just can't do it anymore. Now what do they do? They bring in a Great Dane puppy. She is a good girl, so far I don't have any problems with her, I just look at her and she moves, that's right honey, this is MY house! I know how much my mommy loves doggies, I just hate that I have to share my family, but they are a good family with lots of love for all of us.
So today Mommy is giving me some extra attenion. I am the ONLY one that gets lil sneaks of human food, I get to sleep in mommy's room. I was here first but I do like my fur family too. Mommy said that maybe we will get to go to the park tomorrow, yippee! Well these old eyes are tired I need some sleep.
