The Best Dog Ever

Bye Ted...

I wish I could have been there. My mom called me last night to tell me that they put him down. They took him in to the vet at around 6:30 and the doctor gave him the shot at 6:55. She didn't really want to talk about it much. I'm sure she held him till the end. It took about 20 minutes or so to finally settle in for me. My mom called about 9:15 and I broke down about 9:45-ish. It's not going to be the same without him. I'm glad I got to see him one last time over the weekend though. He was the best dog I've ever known.

I'll see you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, Ted. Till then you can play with Pepper and Bana.

Not looking good

I went to see Teddy this past weekend cause my Mom said he hadn't eaten in 3 days. He still hasn't eaten anything. He has been drinking water however and not throwing it up. But all he wants to do is go outside, crawl under a bush and hide to die. He knows he's sick and just wants to be left alone. This has been really hard on all of us. Even my dad was crying and he's not very much of an emotional person. I had another breakdown while I was there. I wish I could take some time off just to be with him till the end cause I'm pretty sure the end will be in the next few days. I hate seeing him like this cause I know that he's in pain. He's not even smelling food. He just turns away. I love that dog like I don't know what and I'll really miss him when he's gone. In fact, I miss him already.

Poor Puppy :'(

I just got an email from my mom about Teddy. Poor little baby has lost 3 pounds cause he's not eating from the pancreatitis. The dogter said that it's possible that it has turned to pancreatic cancer, but there's no way of knowing witout operating. Mom is really beat up over this and it's even harder to deal with cause Dad is away until tonight in DE for work. It's not looking good and I'm afraid we're gonna lose him soon. Mom doesn't want to make any major decisions without Dad of course and so for now he's on 4 different medications to try and get him to eat something. Vic and I are going up to see him tomorrow night after I get back from yoga class.

I love that little guy so much. This is gonna be hard...
