Arrival Story:
Mickey was born on Cinco DeMayo in the year 2000 (May 5, 2000). He was originally named Pane after Pane Stewart, the golfer who died in a plane crash earlier that year. We went to Bryans Road, MD to get him. We had any pick of the litter and I chose Mick. I remember choosing him because of this little white stripe on the back of his ear. He was a purebred and had excellant markings, which we later put to waste when he became The Ster, but anyways back to the story. At that point he was only a couple months old and we had to wait a sometime after that day because we were gonna pick him up on our way back from vacation. When we picked him up, the breeder wanted to be short because she was sad to see him go, but she was happy. I remember feeling bad because on the way home he kept looking back and whining. But I felt better and it's all been fun ever since.
Bio:
Mick will do anything to get fed. He'll give you his puppy face and he will usually get his way. He absolutely loves to sleep and eat, which are the two things he lives for. He is also the biggest mamma's boy ever. He is her shadow and once made her sick because of all the energy he sucked out of her.
In February 2008, Mick was diagnosed with Terminal Liver Cancer and was put to sleep on April 15, 2008. Mick leaves behind a loving family and tons of friends who'll never forget him.
