My life as a DINGBAT

I thought Mommy was smart....but

I thought Mommy was smart....but

We were laying in bed this morning.
I had my back curled up to Mommy's feet.
She was rubbing my back....oh it felt so good.

We both just layed there doing that for the longest time.

Then Mommy said...."Harley, you are so smart to lay here & get
your back rubbed"

Hello Mommy,...it's me Electra.

Mommy looked down & started to laugh that it was me there
for a change instead of Harley.
I normally don't lay by her feet....
I curl up by her legs.

Now I know why Harley lays there.
That felt good,

We are all sad today

We are saying good bye to our big truck.
All of us pups spent our whole lives in it with Mommy & Daddy.
After Daddy died, Mommy couldn't drive anymore.

Last night the men were here looking at the truck. I knew something was going on. I always know when something is going on that's about Daddy or the truck.
Since Daddy died, I have run to the window all the time when I hear a big truck. It's never been him though.

Today I heard OUR truck start up. I was so excited. I wouldn't settle down.
Mommy had to take me out to show me it wasn't Daddy out there.
It was another man.
Mommy told me things that I don't really understand. All I know is Mommy was crying.
I am going to spend the day cuddled with Mommy. I make her feel better when I curl up to her tummy.
Tomorrow will be harder when that man comes back & drives it away.
Harley & I will help kiss Mommy's tears away.
Mommy will hold us & make us feel ok too.

Can you say a little prayer of comfort for our Mommy, please.

Getting ready for Harley''s birthday

We're getting ready for Harley's birthday.
Mom is putting a few things on our pages for the party.

I've got balloons attached to my Harley & lots of presents for her.

Look at the picture Mom just added for me. These are pups that come & vacation with us. Mom told us to get in a line & we did....BOL
She just got lucky. At the front of the line is Chloe, then my sister Harley, then me , then Bailey the pom, the Roswell the JR.
We sure have lots of fun when dogs come & vacation with us.

Pups everywhere

A pup can't get a quiet moment around here.
Mom's been busy with the pups that come to stay here.
Our buddy Roswell, the JR brought a friend this time. Her name is Chloe. She's a Bichon. Harley & I like her lots.
Jazz, the black lab is going home today.
Maggie, the goldie pup came last night. We miss her big brother, Jake. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge just a few weeks ago.
Onyx the giant Schnauzer is coming this morning.

Maggie really made Mom laugh....twice. Maggie stepped on the sprayer for the hose & got Mom soaking wet twice. Mom was standing there dripping wet & laughing.
All these pups keep Mom laughing & smiling.

I better go keep everyone in line....make sure they know this is MY house.

Company's coming

Woof woof woof.
We have company coming today. Our new pal, Murphy is bringing his Mom over.
Murphy stayed at our house on a mini vacation. We really likes Murphy & his parents. Mom told them to drop by anytime.

Everyone calls me "Miss Attitude", but I do like some people & dogs!

I better see what Mom is doing now. I bet she needs me to help her do something.

Mom's messing with our pages

Our Mom is playing with the background on our pages.
I have some pretty floating hearts.
Harley did have the same but Mom changed hers to pink paws.

I'm tired. I had to do lots of barking & playing today.
A bunch of new dogs that need "pet sat" arrived today.
I have to make sure I show my rotten attitude for a little while.

I let them know they can stay for a little while, but this is MY house.

Everyone is sleeping. Maybe I should go yank on some taills & wake them all up.
I got Harley really good last night. She tries to ignore me..but I keep yanking her tail so she'll come play with me.

My mom calls me a DINGBAT

Yep....my mom calls me & my sister, Harley the DINGBATS.
When she calls us that, we know she says it with lots of love.

I am DINGBAT #2. Harley is DINGBAT #1.

We have lots of dogs around our house because my mom is a pet sitter.
Sometimes I get a big attitude & don't like visitors.
I'm kind of shy. I am doing better & have made lots of new doggy friends though.

My sister, Harley, pretty much likes everyone who comes here.

We each have a pure white cat. They love to cuddle with us. They come to us to get their heads slurped on.

Well, I better go watch over our visitors that are here today. One of my buddies is here. His name is Bailey. He's a Pom. He brought his big brother, Dusty who is a Mountain Burmese. Yikes, he's big!!!
