Leave a bone for Abbey/Woochie

Nicknames: Abbey and Woochie are interchangable...we use them equally as often.

Quick Bio:
Likes: WATER BIGTIME. ANY WAY, ANYWHERE. She also LOVES to totally destroy toys...it's her mission...get them all and rip them to shreds!

Pet-Peeves: Emily (our dachshund)...Abbey wants to be Alpha dog...Emily has that role currently.

Favorite Toy: What toys? They never last more than a day...even canvas lasts 2 weeks tops.

Favorite Food: Abbey has never turned up her nose at any food.

Favorite Walk: DOG PARK...DOG PARK!!

Best Tricks: She sits, comes, stays, gives her paw, and lays down.

Arrival Story: It was Novemeber and we needed guinea pig bedding. The pet store was all ready for Christmas with lots of cute faces ready to look back at you. All of us were looking and none of us uttered a word about wanting anything. Then, out of nowhere, Tom (you don't know Tom, do you?), Tom says, "Lorinna, come here, look at this. I look over and there's Tom with this 12 week old chocolate girl in his arms...her back to his chest, her legs stretched downward so as to show me the part of a dog I am unable to resist...the new soft pink belly...and hers is especially cute because it is edged in brown fluff...I say, yeah, she's really cute, now let's go. (just a little history...Tom has said NO to every animal we have ever gotten...each one has been a major ordeal and struggle to get and then once home, he has complained about it non-stop. He has never in his life thought that he wanted a pet of his own)...so having said that you'll understand my total amazment when I hear Tom say..."I LOVE HER!" He says this in the sweetest, most pitiful voice I have ever heard him utter. I, calling his bluff, say "lets take her home then". "No, oh no, I don't want her...(long pause) I don't think" He then proceeds to not to be willing to leave the store for another almost four hours while he oohs and aahs over this dog. She was an angel, I must admit. I kept offering to buy her for him and finally while she is laying across his lap, her ears flipped back as they gazed into each others eyes while he petted her pink belly edged in chocolate fur I said to him...I'm going to go pay for her, OKAY? "Okay :)" He has loved her like mad ever since and doesn't ever complain even though she has been soooo challenging to raise.
