Arrival Story:
Each was a rescue; Godiva at 10 weeks old, Sawyer months after Hurricane Katrina at 2 years old, and Haze from horrific conditions just before she was a year old. They adore each other; whether playing in the yard, or napping together on a couch, they are truly happy to be a pack.

Godiva is the alpha, and the smallest of the three. Sawyer lets the girls know that he's the token male, and Haze is the sweet, good-natured lumbering baby.

OMD, we've been sooo bad about keeping in touch!

It just sank in that it's over two years since we've posted here!

We've adjusted REALLY REALLY well to the desert! It's a beautiful place, a dog-friendly town, and there are horses to hang out with! Sure didn't have THAT back in New York.

So much has happened in the world since we last posted; we have been reduced to tears at the crossing of pals to the Bridge, and have mourned each of them deeply. We have celebrated the arrival of new pups; and wish them all blessings with their wonderful families.

Love love to ALL our furiends.

We've been working our way South and West this week; spent a few days with Mom's sister playing with kids and enjoying the low country. Well, today, we're back in the car, and headed to the place where our fabulous pals live! Mom talked to Momma G, and we're getting together this evening! What an amazing road trip we're making!

Two months away from the move

Mom says we're leaving here in two months! We're not sure exactly what that MEANS, per se....but she's acting pretty high-strung about the whole thing!
It's been a little weird....strange people keep coming here, and leaving with stuff....there's no more furniture in our yard; tables and desks and all sorts of stuff keeps going away! Yes, we have more room, but it makes her so sad sometimes that she cries all over our's like a mini-bath every time!
Anyway, we keep going for car rides in these new harnesses that we're NOT loving! Can't roam from window to window to front seat to back seat anymore! Why do we now have "assigned seating" with seat belts? Did the FAA clock how fast she drives and declare her a low-flying airplane? Sheesh!
