Sun Sign:
Birthday:
March 2nd 2005

Likes:
I love running in the grass! I also like watching TV and playing chase with Dad. Another thing I really enjoy is lying in a sunny spot. Probably my most favorite thing of all is snuggling on the bed with Mom and Dad.

Pet-Peeves:
Mailmen who don't bring me a package. Sometimes I am lucky and get fun toys or new clothes. I also don't like my baths, but the warm blow dryer is okay. I also don't like the vacuum!

Favorite Toy:
It's a tie between my pink pig that really oinks, my stretchy monkey, or my soft soccer ball. I love to play "keep away" with my toys.

Favorite Food:
Chicken and, if I'm really lucky, I get a taste of vanilla ice cream! I like Vita Snacks too.

Favorite Walk:
I love to walk through the grass as long as it isn't too tall.

Best Tricks:
I twirl really cute and get Dad to move out the futon and find my treat that I "accidentally" lost again. I have him wrapped around my little paw. hehehe

Arrival Story:
From Rosie's mommy: After the girls moved out of the house, I was really suffering from the empty nest syndrome and felt incredibly lonely. I guess I missed having someone to look after. Dan and I decided it would be wonderful to make an addition to our family. As my sister's dog was carrying pups, I asked if we could have one. She said it would depend on how many were born as two were already promised to other people and the vet didn't think there were many pups at all, only 2 or maybe 3. We waited for the day the puppies were born, hoping that more than 2 would arrive. Yahoo! Three puppies were born, 2 girls and 1 boy, and Rosie was the tiniest and last one. In the 5 years that we have had Rosie, she has been a joy and gives unconditional love each day. I may look after her, but she is actually looking after me.

Bio:
Rosie is shy and sweet. Her favorite words are: "Treat," "Dad has a snack," "Play toys?" "Go for walk?" "Dad's home," "Give kisses," "Uh oh" ('cause that means someone dropped food), and especially, "Rosie is a good girl." Rosie loves it when mom or dad plays on the floor with her, and she gets so excited she sometimes forgets to play and stops for quick kisses.

Forums Motto:
Six Pounds of Trouble! LOL!!

Paradise!

We've moved from our condo that only had a small balcony, and I have my own yard!!!! I absolutely love having a yard to run in, and I don't have to wear a leash either! Woohoo! I love flowers, birds, chasing the cat next door, and springtime! Yippee! I'm a very happy camper, and I sure do sleep good at night now with all the fresh air and fun in the sun.

Yesterday, I even helped mom plant some flowers, and we played in the dirt. I helped her dig holes, and I got to smell each and every flower blossom. It was cool!!! Dad gave me a yucky bath when we went inside, but it was worth it! Now, I can't wait until the next time I get to play in my new yard!!!

I Caught a Bug!

Sometimes flies get into our house. They make Mom unhappy, so I try to catch them for her. I've tried and tried and tried to catch them but never have I succeeded. I run as fast as I can, I jump, I run some more, and just when I'm 'bout to pounce on the pesky bugger, it zips away. It's discouraging!

Well, today I was in hot pursuit, expecting the same outcome, when all of a sudden I realized I had it cornered! It was trapped where the wall meets the floor by the one-and-only Rosie, more specifically by my nose. I was afraid to move 'cause I knew it would fly off, but I also didn't know what to do with it now that I had it pinned!

Luckily, Mom saw the situation and hurried to get tissue paper. I waited until she came back--didn't even move a muscle. Mom then managed to collect the bug in the paper and flushed it away, but I CAUGHT A BUG!!
