Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
July 5th 1999

Likes:
Barking! Cuddling, playing, chewing up his toys, running around like he's on dognip.

Pet-Peeves:
Strangers, having his paws touched.

Favorite Toy:
Changes regularly, as he promptly destroys whatever we give him!

Favorite Food:
Cheese rolled with a smidge of peanut butter in the center (that's how he receives his medication), and unbuttered, unsauced, cooked spaghetti noodles!

Favorite Walk:
His daily five-city block walk that "Grampa" takes him on.

Best Tricks:
Singing along with the chimes of the ice cream truck.

Arrival Story:
I had lost my first dog, a Sheltie mutt, a few months prior when I went into a pet store and saw Rusty. He was all head and legs! He looked at me with his deep eyes and I knew he was meant for me! Against my better judgement, I bought him. I haven't regretted it to this day!

Bio:
Rusty has ideopathic epilepsy, which although not rampant, is not uncommon among Rat Terriers, especially those thought to be from puppymills (which Rusty could very well be.) He has an exceptional quality of life and receives Phenobarbitol twice daily to keep the seizures away. His first two years were trying, as we grew to understand (and become addicted to) Terrier mannerisms. RTs are my breed choice for life, and I'm so glad that Rusty is a part of mine. :D
