Life is Ruff When You're Just a Pup!

We're all adopted now!

They spent a week or two in the shelter before Fuzz Button was finally adopted. Her new momma is a doctor, and she also has a very mature little boy to be best buddies with. This suits her perfectly because she is SUCH a gentle little puppy.

The other two (Jazz and Candy) were adopted TOGETHER!! I cannot believe this! Does their new family have any idea what they've gotten themselves into?!? ::o :)) :)) :)) I hope they have a LOT of energy. Those two loved to wrestle, fight over toys and food, and generally just be big brats together. At least Fuzz Button was able to get away from their antics. Their new family consists of two Registered Nurses. So, BOL, the Three Sisters all went to medical families.

;c; I'm glad I don't have to look at them in the kennel at the shelter anymore!

Time for our first entry!

Well, we seem to have Kennel Cough! Yucky yucky! Right now it is just a dry cough and a bit of sneezing, present in Candy (the tan & white pup) and Jazzy (smooth tricolor). Fuzzy is off-and-on with her health. Some days she's doin' great, other days she seems to be lethargic for a puppy, and every once in awhile she doesn't want to eat. Whereas Jazz developed an intense appetite seemingly overnight, and her belly is HUGE even though FM is not letting her eat more than normal. So in other words, we are going to camp out at the shelter for a little while tomorrow while the vet(s) take a look at us and give us stuff to make us feel better.

FM weighed us for the first time today. Candy is a whopping 5 pounds, Fuzzy Bear and Jazzy are 2 pounds each. FM is waiting until we are undeniably healthy and a bit heavier until sending us in for our spay surgery. Which means we'll have to wait for about 2 more weeks. Which means we'll miss the huuuuge adoption event weekend after next. But FM says that's OK, 'cause we'll get gobbled up anyway on our first trip to Petsmart. Or if we stay in the shelter, we'll get gobbled up there, too.

That big dog Jasmine is starting to teach us how big dogs play. She really likes to play bow and we try to mimic her (if we aren't totally scared by her, big dogs are so... BIG!). She seems a bit disappointed that we aren't big enough to actually run with and wrestle with, though.
