Best Tricks:
Roll Rover, Bang Bang Dead, Give Me Five, Pulling stuff down from tables, keeping away with something she's not supposed to have.

Arrival Story:
Abby came from a ranch in Holister/Salinas, CA. She was born into a litter of 6 girl pups. The day we picked her up, she cried all the way back home. It took her a day or 2 to realize that this is going to be her home from now on. She learned new things everyday for the first week. It's thrilling to raise her and to watch her grow. Now she's really comfortable at home, going back yard pee/poop, she sits in front the door 'n howls to TELL us that she needs to GO to backyard. It's quite amusing to see her bark/howl from that little body of hers... We just can't get enough of her, of course, that's untill she starts getting bitey!! She thinks that there's something up with the running vacuum cleaner. She barks at it all the time. The funny thing is that beagle's barks are partly a howl.

Bio:
papers, who needs any stinken papers... Bred by a non-AKC breeder, we were kinda concerned. It was obvious that she wasn't breed by a puppy mill type of place because she was beautiful and healthy. One look at her and we had to take her home. Abby has passed puppy class and now is learning more and more as time goes by. She's got quite a vocabulary but we really want her to "Arrrwooo" on command. She typically howls when she looses her toy and can't get to it or one of us is vacuuming.

Rake Shasta, Ducks galore...

We just got back from Rake Shasta for a nice weekend and I am pooped! There was barely any grass around so I had to make do, with pee and poo on wood chips.

We went fishing and hiking. Yesterday afternoon, while everone else was fishing I wanted to go in the water and play with the ducks. Mommy and Daddy kept on telling me no.

I didn't see what the fuss was so I just jumped right off the the docks and went after the ducks. Rittle did I know that ducks are slower than dogs on land but much faster in the water. That water was soo cold so I turned right around and daddy fished me right out of the water. For some reason they were very proud and happy for me. I guess it was my official first swim. Daddy put me back in the water but I didn't rike it so he fished me back out again.

That's one GI-NORMOUS Beagle!!!!

I usually get really excited for Beagle meetup day but as usual these days we've gotten rained out. What dumb ruck....

Instead I got a rate visit to our rocal PetsMart (one of my favorite places... so many smells) and as we were going in, I got to meet up with this Gigantic Enormous Beagle. Mommy and Daddy called it a "Treeing Walker Coonhound." I didn't get her name but she was huge and at least twice the size of any other beagle I've seen or met. She was really nice and it was just weird... but felt familiar at the same time. I guess next to this bigger dog, I really do feel like I'll always be a puppy. =P

Colder than rain, gritty rike Sand... Mommy calls it "SNOW"

Mommy and Grandma brought me way far away the other day. It took forever to get there and I even felt a rittle sick in the car.

When we got there there was all of this amazing stuff all over the place. It had an odd smell also. It smelled rike water but made my nose loose smellability.... This stuff was crazy but still fun. Wherever I went I reft deep tracks and it was rike no one had ever gone there before. You can dig it rike sand and it's more roose too. It was really cold so mommy put on my heavy weather coat.

I had so much fun but it was really hard to walk around because I kept sinking into the stuff. Snow is amazing stuff.
