I have been tagged by my sweet friend, Lizzy!

RULES OF THE GAME:

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their diary the rules and their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose some dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!

#1) My official AKC name is "Shamcam's Patriot Man". Sham from Shamrock Boxers (my mum) and cam from Camelot Boxers (my dad)and well, since they call me Bruschi the Patriot man is self explanatory (unless you don't follow football).

#2) I LOVE to snuggle and am the best snuggler ever!

#3) It is easy to see how I'm feeling by my expressions. Mom and dad think it's so cute that I actually have facial expressions.

#4) Scratch me behind my ears, and I'm done! I will melt right into your lap :)

#5) I LOVE cold weather!! Especially snow-FUN!

#6) I love to play in the water. The beach at low tide is the best.

#7) Like my pal Lizzy, I love going for rides in my dad's truck. Driving around with dad by my side is the best!

I am going to tag my pals Zeus, Brewski, and Gus

Wow! I wanted to thank dogster for thinking my diary entry was worth "diary pick of the day". I am humbly honored. Just think, this all started with that little mole. The best thing about today was all the nice things everypup's been saying to me. I've made some new friends, and have heard from some of my other friends. You all make a pup feel special :) Thank you all for your kind words.

I got me a mole!!!!

Well, you know I try to catch those drasted squirrels, but I got me something second best today. I caught my very first mole, and I was going to get him bad, but mom ruined all the fun. There's actually a video of part of it, but mom wants me to warn you not to turn the volume up too loud if you watch it, cause she screams at the end. Anyway, mom saw me searching for something outside, so she came to check it out. At first she thought it was a toad, so she was coming to save it. I found that little bugger right where he was hiding and he squeeked, and I picked him up very gentle-like, and then I threw him (right toward mom). Mom was the one egging me on to "get it". For some reason, mom wouldn't let me finish him off...something about him being a scared little guy - whatever! Mom turned the camera off, and then the fun started. The mole followed mom wherever she went (she was wearing flip-flops so she was nervous about him running on her feet) and I was following that mole. I thought mom was leading him away to somewhere where I could trap him, but she didn't. So mom was running, the mole was running, and I was right behind boxing with him and picking him up. I was having the time of my life, then mom grabbed me and we watched him run off. I don't understand why I couldn't play with him. Mom ruined all the fun...doesn't she get a dog needs some adventure in his life? Next time (because there WILL be a next time) I am going to have to be sneaky about it so mom doesn't see me. I'll get me a mole again. I promise :)

It's That Time of Year...

Well, I figured it was about time I started my own diary, as I have a lot to think about. Even my breeder said all the pups would be playing, but I would be sitting there deep in thought. Just call me Mr. Philosophy.

Today was the day I have dreaded all summer. The big yellow things on wheels stopped by our house to pick up my kids one by one (mom wants me to specify they all go to different schools this year - whatever). Now the house is empty, and boring. All mom's been doing is cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Doesn't she get it that it's just going to be a mess again when they all come home? Anyhoo, I love my kids, and I already miss them. They play with me, and I love that in the morning I get to lounge around with them. *big sigh*

On a happier note, this means more walks for us, and mom has more time to play. It is also the time of year when those darned squirrels are really busy doing whatever it is that they do. Those of you who have seasons...you know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping I can sneak up on one while it's digging a hole to bury its acorns (those darn acorns...I almost got hit in the head with one the other day - maybe the squirrel threw it at me, but that's a story for another day). I really want to catch me one. I try all the time, and mom says "No, Bruschi, stay away". She says they can be mean little creatures. How can something so darn annoying be smart enough to hurt me? Well, I am going to go back to snoozing while I ponder that thought - and now that I have a place to keep my thoughts I will be back...
