Yappy Valentine's Day

My paws are cold at times,
Old man winter still hangs on.

Mom gives me hugs and love,
We both wish winter to be gone!

But February brings new growth,
And flowers show their faces with grace.

My heart is beating with joy,
As the longer days I do embrace.

Mom says it's Valentine's Day,
As she gives me a special treat.

A kiss a plant on Mom's face,
Because Mom is so sweet!

Doggie Days of Summer

Mom's been busy and she promised to make an entry into my diary today. It's been very hot where we live. Mom keeps me and Pippers cool with some misters and the AC in the house-arrrooooo for Mom:) It's cooler today and I have been chillin' in the shade of the patio and the huge trees in the yard-there is also a breeze today!

I've been moulting my old winter fur and I know I'm getting ready to grow a new coat for the winter that's coming-brrrrrr;) Pip and me have seen lots of kitty action this summer:) We ruv to bark at the kitties and they like to tease us-arrrroooooo!

I had allergies again and Mom had me on prednisone and antihistamine for a long time. I'm still taking the antihistamine and, so far, I'm doing okay:) I only had to wear the e-collar for a week-YES!

The days are getting shorter so the sun goes down faster-I like that:) I ruv being in the house and resting in my kennel-oh so good! I hope all my pup pals are having a good summer! Woofers and waggles!

Mother's Day

Arrooooo all you Moms out there,

It's a special day for all Moms,
We pups thank you all for being there!

Cause you give us all such tender love!

We pups are so lucky,
And we thank the Man up above!
