Arrival Story: Cassandra was a stray in Kentucky. She sat in the shelter in Bowling Green for 4 long months waiting to be saved. No one came to find her. No one came to adopt her. This shelter is VERY busy and often overcrowded. Cassandra is so sweet, though, that she avoided euthanization several times. The shelter people just loved her. As her time was running out once again, the shelter contacted Rogers' Rescues and asked someone to help her. She came to live in my home and has been a perfect little lady since she arrived. Bio: Cassandra's breed is a mystery. She resembles the mountain cur but she may be a mix. She certainly has a unique beauty about her. Her brindle coat is gorgeous. Her eyes are deep and dark and you can see there's a long story hidden behind them. Her tail curls up over her back and when she wags it, the tail bobs up and down instead of from side to side. It is so cute! She flinches a little bit when you go to pet her from above. It would seem she's been hit in the past and is trying to avoid it again. The poor sweet little girl!
