A new home for ME?!

Yep, I THINK I am going to find a new home tonight!! I was put on the websie for North West Animal Companions, and I quickly became the most requested dog!! There are 2 families that seem like great fits for me, and now I just have to meet them and see which one it will be!!

I had a bath today, and Mommy will brush me in a little while, and then I have to put on my best smile! I am very excited about my interviews, but I am also very nervous about it!!

Wish me luck!! I hope in my next entry I can tell you all about my new home!!

Why Fraggle Rock you ask?

I was rescued from the Humane Society last Thursday. Mommy went in to look and see what they had that they were saying was "unadoptable". I was lucky enough to be in that group!! Yep, LUCKY enough is exactly what I meant to say!

You see, I was so badly infested with fleas that I made my vet GASP in horror at the sight! THAT threw Mommy for a loop until he told her WHY he gasped!! He said I was the worst case of fleas he has seen since he was in SoCal where the fleas prosper all year round!

Well with a Capstar pill and a good flea dip, the fleas were MOSTLY dead. Mommy and Daddy took care of the rest with a dose of Advantage later that night. I am now flea free and proud!

I was very matted and nasty, even after a good long bath. Daddy took the clippers to me and got rid of a lot of that. I had a big old tuft of hair on the top of my head that made me look like the Fraggle Rock Muppets! Daddy didn't hear Mommy tell him not to cut it off, so it went into the pile of matted hair!!

It is a darn good thing I am still SO CUTE!! Now all I need is for someone to take me home and love me furever!! I know it will happen, EVERYONE seems to fall in love with me, but they can't take me because they have too many dogs already!!
