Life of the Little Guy...

My 2 littermates are coming!!

I am SO excited!! There were 5 of us originally when we got to the rescue. 1 of us was adopted right away by another foster mom who has a grown Chin. A second was adopted the same day by a woman who has adopted 2 other dogs from the rescue. That left 3 of us. The 3 of us are not going anywhere for about a month or so, and we needed foster homes.

Mommy and Daddy were set up to take us all in, when yet another foster home decided to take 2 home, and we would take 2. One of the ones adopted was the other puppy who was going to come live here. Anyway, the family that has the other 2 puppies is getting VERY attached to them, and they can not end up keeping another dog. Mommy said of course they can come live here!! They are my littermates after all!! They are already family!!

We are not sure when they will be here, but I am so excited!! Mommy says it will be hard for me to go anywhere with 2 other puppies, but we will figure it all out. Mommy is trying to figure out the logistics, while I bounce and go nuts with excitement!! Ut oh....now I will have to SHARE my food....hmmm, I have to go now and discuss the food thing with Mommy!

I have been given a name!

The man responsible for me being in this world, took me to a rescue yesterday so I could be adopted out to my furever home. I am with my foster family though in the mean time. They were calling me Baby all of yesterday and this morning until I went with Mommy and Daddy to take one of the foster cats to the vet.

The vet has 3 young girls who volunteer there during the summer, and they just fell in love with me! After much thought and debate, they decided I am definitely a Riley!! Mommy agreed! She says that my furever family will likely choose another name for me anyway, so Riley is great for now!

Before we left, Mommy took me to say hello to the vet. I really liked him, but I didn't get any shots, so he is still a great guy! Diego told me everything he did for him, and I love the vet guy for that!! Diego is a good friend of mine now....not to mention my foster brother!!

I see Mommy told you my favorite toy is a cat toy! MAN!! Thanks Mommy!! Oh well, why she kitties be the only ones who have such GREAT toys??

Okay, I have lots to say, but that darn micey toy is calling my name!! I MUST GO PLAY.......
