Good Bye sweet baby Mike

Mike was adopted today. The new parents had been talking with me for a week and took their time making up their minds. After much thought, the papers have been signed and Mike starts his life over yet again. This time he will not leave I am sure. He is such a wonderful little guy and has so much love to give. He is so well behaved and will be a good friend for their Boston Terrier Beau. I feel good about the adoption. I know they will take care of him.
I'll keep in touch and have told them more than once that if they do not want to keep him I will be happy to take him back..........where he will never leave again. We will adopt him if he is returned. I'll check with your new family to see that you are well and safe. Have a long happy life sweet boy. I will never forget you.

My Furever Home

Mom said she has found me a furever home. Last one was supposed to be furever too. Hummmmm Mom said I am going on a home trial and if it works out OK I will be adopted. If it doesn't work out I am going to stay here furever. :) I guess it's a win, win situations. hehehe I met the people and their dog Beau yesterday and I liked them a lot. Beau is real nice to me and the people were real nice too. Mom said she has talked to them a lot and feels this is a safe and loving home for me. I'll be fine I know. I will miss Mom & Dad but Mom said we won't forget each other just like before. She also said that if I am ever given back again I will be part of this family from that day on. Dad and Mom love me very much and it's hard for them to give me up. Mom said she wants to keep me but she has other dogs who need her help and she has to help as many as she can. She said we will carry each other in our heart as we have from the day we me. Tomorrow will be an important day.

It's cold outside...

Wow! It sure is cold outside. I went out to potty this am and the grass felt like ice. It was not nice for my toes. I hurried back inside. :) It's nice and warm inside and I slept with my foster parents in their big bed last night. Mom said I am only the 3rd foster dog that has ever been invited to do that. I was very good. I went under the covers and stayed very still and quiet. I think they will let me sleep with them from now on. :) It did warm up outside and I went out with my friends to soak up some sun. hehehe

Mom says I have to get a microchip and have a fecal done before she can adopt me out again. She said she knows I am healthy but the foundation needs to have the vet say so. She said I will have those things done asap and then she will take applications on me. She and Dad say they are going to be very careful who gets me. They say I need to go to someone who will always take care of me and never give me up again. I think it scared them as much as it did me when I was returned.

I'm Back!

My family brought me back to my foster parents. My Mom she can't be my Mom anymore. She said my Granny is very sick and she has to take care of her from now on, as well as take care of my 3 little girls and my dog brother. I thought maybe I did something wrong but I didn't. I'm a good boy. I kind of miss my family. BUT I feel kind of like I am home here. I remember where the pet door is and I use it when I need to potty. I like the food. My Foster Mom feeds me good food and I get clean water and I have my own crate with soft bedding in it. Best yet, I have Bella and Buddy and Heidi to play with. I also have some other dogs to play with. They are other foster dogs too and I like them all. I love my foster Mom and Dad's bed. I jump up and sleep on it. Dad and I took a nap today in his recliner with Bella when the football game was on TV. We watched the Rose Parade this morning and then I took a nap with Mama this afternoon on the sofa. It's good here. Mama said she is going to find me a good home and I am not to worry about anything. OK, That is fine with me. I know my Mama is going to take care of me and I'm gona take care of her too. It's going to be like going to camp or on vacation. hehehe I sure hope my next family keeps me furever. I want a a home that I never have to leave and a family that will keep me always.

Bye-Bye Mike

Today little Mike found his forever family. He is now a part of a family of 3 little girls, a 4 yr old dog and a nice Mom & Dad. Mom is a stay at home Mom so Mike won't be alone all day. They raised a puppy already, so know about chewing etc. I think Mike is going to be loved and cared for the rest of his life. There will be follow ups and a home visit, but I have think it will all work out. Have a wonderful life little Mike. Be a good boy and love your people. It was a true pleasure to help you.

Adoption Day tomorrow.

My foster Mom said tomorrow will be a big day for me. She said I will likely get my furever home. She said I am going to adoption day at Petsmart and that's where people come to see dog like me who are looking for their furever homes. She gave me a bath. Heidi had fun in the mud again today. hehehe Mom said I had to look handsome and smell sweet when I go for Adoption Day. She said she loves me but she wants me to have my very own family. I like it here. I love to play with Heidi. She's fun but she is not my real sister. I will try to be good and be very nice to the people tomorrow and maybe I'll find my furever home. If not Mom said I'll just come home again and I will be loved and be OK.

My house is sad.

It is sad at my new house. Bradley crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday. Mom cries a lot. Dad is always giving her hugs. Bella, Buddy and Heidi say it will be OK and I should just give mom kisses when I can. They say she loved Bradley a lot and I kind of loved him too. He played with me and was real nice to me. I miss Bradley.

Mom said I am getting neutered Wed. I can go to a forever home after that. I like that idea. I hope I have a kid to play with.

Where is Jaxon?

Jaxon is gone. I can't find him. Bella said he went to his "furever home". She said that means he will have a family of his own now and forever. Hummmmm I am gonna get my own family one day too. I might even get a boy or a girl to play with. My foster mom says I am just so sweet and cute that everyone will want me when they see me at Petsmart. For now I am happy and I am safe so I am OK. I am going to get neutered Tuesday. Jaxon said that is not fun. I think he felt bad after he had it. Oh well I will be OK.

A new home

Last night my owner gave me to my foster parents. He loves me a lot. My foster mom said I am lucky cause Doogie's owner gave him to Animal Control! She said my owner wanted me to be safe and happy so he turned me over to animal rescue. She said he was a good person and she respects him. I miss him. I miss my little sister too. I like it here though. I played outside in the yard with the other dogs here. Heidi is so much fun. She is my new friend. Jaxon and Bella and Buddy and Bradley are all nice to me. I'm OK and my foster mom said I am going to have a wonderful furever home and live a long happy life. That sounds good to me. :)
I got vaccinated today! I was a good boy. I didn't cry. My foster mom hugged me and kissed me and said she is so proud of me. :) I like her and my foster dad too. I love to play in the yard!!!!!
