Arrival Story:
I have a four year old Corgi and I wanted to have another one to grow up with Shadow. I was looking for a tri-colored female. After about a week of searching and no luck, there was an ad in the local paper for Corgi puppies. I went and looked at the pups and I fell in love with the one who couldn't be still. She had a huge white area on her side and a grey zig-zag on the back of her neck.

It has been a long week since I left my brothers and sister and came to my new home. I came home wearing a fashionably pink collar and matching leash which I enjoy chewing on. I met my new big brother Shadow. He's about three times my size, but I'm NOT afraid of him.

I got a sqeaky toy that he took before I had a chance to play with it so I took his chew bone, which I enjoy very much. He sure does have a lot of energy and never stops running, but I stay right beside him. He doesn't like sharing his ball so I have to sneak in a few turns to play with it. I think I like him, if he would just leave my ears alone and stop barking in my face. I wonder why he does that??

My favorite place to sleep is on the glass on the bottom of the coffee table. I sprawl out and sleep forever, then I'm charged up and ready to chase Shadow for another hour. I like his food much better than mine, and I've tasted spaghetti and peanut butter crackers. I wonder what other kind of goodies there are. There is a dirt pile near the fence that is my favorite spot in the yard. I get in it and spin around and moonwalk. Shadow looks at me like I'm crazy, but he's just jealous because he can't do it. The backyard is huge and it has a pool which I've been in a few times-I'm a natural at swimming.

Well that's all about my first week at home with my big brother Shadow. I can't wait to get bigger and play more with him.

Woof Woof
