Arrival Story:
We went to the Humane Society to inquire about a chocolate labrador we had seen on the website. It turned out that the dog we were originally interested in wasn't a good match for us, but they told us that they had a different chocolate lab who was just going up for adoption that day. We met Pete at noon and adopted him fifteen minutes later. Who says love at first sight doesn't exist!?
Bio:
We don't know where Pete came from. He was found wandering as a stray, but is in perfect health, is a beautiful purebred dog, and smart as a whip, to boot. You can see a video of him doing some tricks if you visit www.sillywalk.ca/gallery/Pete and click on "The Pete Show".
So, where he came from is a mystery, but we do know that whoever let him go must have been crazy! He had no tattoos, microchips, or identifying information. We often wonder how anybody could let him go, but we are very happy that he is part of our family now!
