It’s evening here and mom is just returned from her job,
She had a look at Dogster. The home page has a part dedicated to “Pet – Photos – a Labour day photo homage to working dogs”.
She saw, with surprise, the last picture of a Newfoundland with the helicopter.
I don’t know where Dogster took that photo but that dog is one of my friends and he attends the school I attend, too (mom has been attending it since 1996 (with Assia – her previous dog) and now with me)
I’m happy that Dogster mentioned our work. Thank you.
I don’t want to spend words about the other pictures of K9 units that everyday work in rescue operations, even because 9/11 is approaching and everything has been said.
Naike and her mom want to ideally hug all those wonderful creatures of the world that are DOGS.
Just returned from holidays in Croatia.
There was a wonderful and clean sea, great rocks seasides from which I jumped, little and lonely beaches where there was just me and my 2 humans having a bath.
And now, the bad news: me comforting mom who, one day, fully centered a sea-urchin when having her bath; me praying the god of canine creatures to save my life when my humans decided to rent a little engine boat for 5 hours. In fact, owing to sea rules, you may not let the engine on within 50 meters from shore; therefore you have to approach the shore or move away from it by paddling. And paddling seems easier than managing an engine but ... it isn't. Avoiding paddles on my head has been my main activity during those 5 hours. I also spent some days on a beach for dogs and I knew many other dogs wanting to share a swimming with me. It has been a great time.
Now, duty calls back and in these days the weather is just reminding me that falls is approaching even if some time has still to elapse.
Naike
My humans are almost free: the winter required extra time for job and they’ll have their holidays in one week but they’ll leave for the seaside only mid-August and I’ll follow them.
I hope you all have happy, happy holidays and … hey! if you think to spend some days in Milan in early August ... well … just let me know! I’ll show you (excuse me … bark you) the landscapes here around my region.
