Most days when mom is on the computer, I like the lay on the futon. Last night, before mom, dad and I went to bed, I decided to kick-back a little and just enjoy the moment.

Last night, I decided I wasn't going to sleep in my parents room but in the spare bedroom on the woobie which was on the futon *grin*
Mom told me she missed me last night but understood that I am grown-up enough to now make decisions on my own.
I really love sleeping on my woobie during the day when mom is on the computer. It's a larger bed and my own room. Mom and dad are just a few feet away, so I know I'm okay.

Mom and dad decided to paint the spare bedroom last weekend. I wasn't too sure what was going on and didn't like it that they didn't allow me in the bedroom.
However, mom did put my bed near the door so I could lay and watch the work.
The room looks very nice and I'm glad that its over *woof-grin* Now I can go in again and lay on my futon.
I hope all of my Dogster pals are enjoying a good day :)

This morning, I heard a truck coming down our street. Mommy told me to come over to her and she picked me up. Mom opened the garage door and greeted two large men.
I looked them over suspiciously but they seemed friendly enough. Both of them gave me 'pets' and said I was the cutest *grin*
All of us went into the house and they started removing the cushions from our old furniture. I didn't know what was going on but started barking at them. They were touching my stuff and I couldn't understand why they didn't know that.
After lots of activity, our living room ended up with three new pieces of nice furniture. The loveseat is a rocker recliner as well as the chair. The couch, is a double recliner. Mom and I have been alternating between all three and enjoying them. Mom says that we're going to take a nap real soon *giggle* Mommy took a picture of me. You can see it HERE at the end of the page.
I hope that all of my pals are having as good a day as me :)

When daddy has to go into work early, I get to go up on the bed and sleep with mommy. Daddy puts the woobie over the bedspread and then lays me on it.
I just love it. Its soooo soft. Mommy and daddy coo at me and I get lots of nosie kisses and some belly rubs. This always makes me feel good, so I have to clean my feet some.
Usually, the woobie sits on top of the futon. But for the last two weeks, I've started pulling it down *woof-giggle* and wallowing, hiding and napping on it all on my own *wags tail proudly*
Sometimes, my mommy can't see me because my woobie is covering me up. I hear mom giggling and calling me, "silly girl".
She took pictures of me and my woobie the other day and put them HERE. I hope you'll look at them. I think they'll make you smile :)

When I first arrived home, my daddy would sing this parlor song called Daisy Bell (also known as A Bicycle Built for Two) to me.
I think daddy heard this from A Space Oddyssey where HAL sings this as his last words. Silly daddy :D~
Mom has changed the midi on my page to this song and we can't wait for daddy to see!

If I could talk mommy and daddy 'talk' I'd like to tell them how very happy I am that they saved me from death.
I was scared and alone. I knew that something was terribly wrong and that my life was in peril.
I love them for adopting me and for ensuring that I am getting the best health care. Not only that, but when mom and dad have to be gone, they put me in the Princess suite at the vets and I love having special accommodations.
I'm also thankful for all of the toys mom and dad have bought me. I play with them every day. Mom and dad always make time for me and it makes me feel like the luckiest kid in the world.
Most of all, I'm thankful to my parents for giving me back my self-esteem and the knowledge that I am loved unconditionally.

This morning mom caught me chewing on the basket that holds my toys. Mommy made me lay on the couch for a while and gently scolded me for having chewed on it.
After a while, she came over and held, cuddled and cooed at me. I hope I can remember not to chew on the basket *woof-grin*
I'm also a bit lonely as my daddy is out of town till Friday :( However, I do get to sleep on the bed with mommy and that always makes me happy :D
