Low crawling like the military guys, sitting, fetching, and somehow we have lead her to believe that she can sing to certain songs.

Arrival Story:
My husband is military and while in Iraq he kept telling his platoon that when they got home, he was going to get a puppy for his kids. He kept promising them that they would get a dog as soon as we got our own home and not living on post. We bought our home and shortly after he deployed. So when the guys got home and we had a welcome back party at our house, one of the sgt.'s that worked for my husband shows up for the party with this bundle of black fur. The sergent that bought her had a nickname on the radio and it was BooYah, so by default she was named after he buyer. I couldn't be more pleased with his choice.

I had 9 puppies yesterday. Jeez, am I ever tired. Things are in a up roar in my kennel. I have 5 girls and 4 boys. They look more like me than the father Rocky who is the family pet of my female owner Michelle's cousin Trey. Trey and his family stayed with us this past summer via a military move. To make a long story short, my owner had no idea I was in heat and one thing lead to another and Rocky who is Black Lab and I are now proud parents. I know in the near future that my babies will all have to have new homes but for now they are here with me, my owners and their daughter, my human sister.

Yesterday when I went into labor, my female owner Michelle called all of the perspective future owners of my pups. Aunt Cindy was called first. She was in the middle of trying to buy a new car. She came as soon as she could. Her and Uncle Wayne have no other pets and I know for a fact she'll make a good mommy to any of my pups. At Christmas myself and the three cats who live with my owners were given presents a Christmas from her. She even remembered Doggy Chocolates! The second call was Uncle Sandy. He loves me and Rocky so much that he wants two of my babies. He takes good care of me when my human parents are out of town. He has one other dog (Sable) and I'm sure she'll help take care of the two that Uncle Sandy decides to take home. Uncle Blake was called third. He's Uncle Sandy's older brother and just as kind to my human family and myself as Uncle Sandy. He wants Lucky #7 already. After the birthing was over and I used the Facilities I asked to be let outside where the humans were all waiting and personally went up to each one to thank them. My Uncle Blake also has a friend that came by who is interested in one of my babies as well. So up to this point I know that 5 of my babies will have very good homes. I human owners weren't looking for 4 more dogs, but however if no other really good homes offer the other 4 a home, they have promised me that the remaining 4 will be staying here.
Next week we all go to the vet for a check-up and then again in a couple of weeks for deworming and again in 6 to 8 weeks for one more deworming then everyone goes to there new home. I'll be getting fixed and continuing to live my life as a Army Dog Dependant!
