Arrival Story:
i went to the local humane association of nm. as i was walking by the dogs, i stopped and looked at a dog then named scarlet. she was 3 and a half months old. i thought to myself, "maybe" and kept walking. then as i walked away, she threw the biggest fit ever! she jumped on the side of the cage and barked and carried on. i knew she was calling me back to her. she truly picked me. i asked to walk her outside and the one thing i wanted was a dog that would play ball. when we were in the play area, she immediately went for the tennis ball they had in there. i knew she was the dog for me.

Bio:
I decided to name her Puck after the character in Shakespear's "A Mid Summer Night's Dream." Puck means, sprite, imp, or trouble maker....this was totally her! Puck had parvo when she was 3 and a half months old. after we brought her home she started vomitting and had severe diarreha. she overcame parvo, and time and time again has proved to be our miracle dog. she's so strong and brave. she has overcome so many obstacles and is such a happy and friendly dog. she loves all people. just recenlty, on july 26th, 2004 we took her to englewood, colorado to have surgery on her spine in her neck. she is in recovery and doing great. puck is the best dog ever!
