Gee it is the new year and this is my first entry.....Mum has been under the weather but she is better now.
She found some pictures of my Angel Sisters so she made pages for them so they could be on my page as family.
It is snowing here and lots of traffic accidents; because it is slick.
I pray that all folks will slow down and drive carefully to avoid accidents.
The snow is so beautiful and it is so gentle and quiet.

Songs, Music, Food for the Soul

I figured out how to get music on my site with the tutoring from my buddy WINston! He has always carefully guided me thru any problem....his Mom and Webster's mom have always been like my mom to me! Thanks guys for the inspiration!!!

Ah

Ah I can sniff spring in the air and in spring a young lad's thoughts turn to love with
the truest Spring Maiden.
Aye that would be my Sweet Maiden Sandy......she is brighter than the sun and more delicate than the first crocus that pops thru the spring soil to say Hello... makes me want to do unending cartwheels on ice. (daydreaming of skating on ice wid Sandy) We would take the gold no questions asked......

A reading from Thomas Merton's Book:

On March 18, 1958, on the corner of Fourth and Walnut, now Fourth and Muhammad Ali in Louisville, Kentucky, Thomas Merton had a vision of oneness with all people. He called this vision an "epiphany."

"In Louisville, at the corner of Fourth and Walnut, in the center of the shopping district, I was suddenly overwhelmed with the realization that I loved all those people, that they were mine and I theirs, that we could not be alien to one another even though we were total strangers. It is a glorious destiny to be a member of the human race ... there is no way of telling people that they are all walking around shining like the sun."

Paradoxically, Merton experienced this transformation when he was out of his everyday monastic life and was immersed in the hustle and bustle of our shopping district - now Fourth Street Live. Merton said of his experience:

"I suddenly saw the secret beauty of their hearts, the depths of their hearts where neither sin nor desire nor self-knowledge can reach, the core of their reality, the person that each one is in God's eyes. If only they could all see themselves as they really are. If only we could see each other that way all of the time. There would be no more war, no more hatred, no more cruelty, no more greed..."

Spring

Ah Spring.......the red buds, lilac, lily of the valley, violets, bleeding hearts, jonquils, tulips, bishop's hat, wild ginger, johnny jump-ups, forget-me-nots, dog woods, forsethia, are all blooming now, reminding us of sweet renewal and songs in young pups & kitties hearts....I do so wuf everything about the spring air and gentle breezes. Wishing everyone a beautiful spring with songs in your hearts....now and forever....

Furiends

Boy the last 6 mos I've seen alot of my furiends go to the bridge.....I'm thankful for all the furiends I've known and know. Furiends make our lives richer by giving us common bonds and laughter, understandings, goals and gentle acceptance of the passage of time. We have furiends because by definition furiendship is unconditional. My heart beats stronger for all the furiends that have made my life more meaningful.

Friends

Tonight I was just checking on some old and new furiends; and on Handsome Jack's page I read a note that said Friends are kisses blown to us from angels..... How sweet and how very true! Kisses to all of you too!! Paws&Hugs, Bentley
