He puts his foot up like he wants to shake and as soon as you bend down he gets on your arm so you can pick him up.

Arrival Story:
Diablo is Grandpa's Dog. Grandpa lives just a few houses away. Grandpa got very lonely when Grandma passed away in Feb. 07, and decided that he wanted a dog. We have a friend who works at the City Dog Shelter and told her to watch for a special dog who would be the right size and temperament for Gramps. We got the call, and went to see Diablo and fell instantly in love.

Bio:
We don't have much background information on him, except that he was found wandering the streets and no one ever claimed him. We just made up a birthdate. Gave him the same birthday as Grandpa so they can celebrate together! He had some nasty teeth that had to be cleaned, and needed to be neutered, but now is all polished up. We just need to plump him up because he is very thin. We don't know what happened to Diablo's tail, but it's gone! He just has a small tuft of fur that wiggles when he is happy! We were told the Diablo means Devil in Spanish. That may be true, but the Wizard Of Oz had good witches and bad witches, so there must be good devils! Diablo is the name he was given when they found him wandering the streets, and that's going to stay his name because he answers to it. He has gone through enough turmoil, and will now live the good life.
