Pugs of the Round Table Pup of the Month!!!!!

As I sit here tonight typing, I am thinking about how good of a month I've had. I had a great Thanksgiving and I have had a lot to be thankful for. I had a great achievement this month, being named Pugs of the Round Table Pup of the Month for November. I love my friends at PRT, and I can always depend on them for a great time. I wish everyone could have such great pals!!!!

Moxie And The Dragon

It was a dark evening in the Barony of Tightly Wound Tails, and Moxie had just awoken from a late afternoon slumber. She noticed the skies and said to herself 'I must have really slept well, I was dreaming'. Now awake, she walked from her place of living out onto the land. Suddenly, she heard a rumbling that startled her. 'What is that' she said to herself. Out of nowhere, a gigantic dragon appeared just feet from her. 'Dear Moxie, I have heard you are quite the dragon slayer- but I hate to inform you that you are no match for me. I am Uglichocolatus, the meanest dragon to ever walk the baronies' he sneered. He was tall and scary-looking. He was solid black with a brown head. Moxie briefly felt fear, but then her dragon slaying skills kicked in. She snapped her fingers and her sword appeared in her hand. 'Come on flame breath, lets fight', she said, jumping towards the ugly behemouth. With a quick swipe, she burned the inside of is gigantic left claw. 'Ahh, you sure are a feisty little girly' Uglichocolatus laughed. 'You ain't seen nothing yet, pal' said Moxie, lunging onto the dragon's back. She gave several quick stabs, making Uglichocolatus scream with pain, but he still did not fall. 'What can I do to beat this dude' Moxie thought to herself. 'What is the weakness of Uglich---UGLICHOCOLATUS.....I get it now'. Moxie realized that the dragon was made of chocolate. Moxie turned on her heated sword and jumped towards the dragon- 'Feel the heat buddy'. Uglichocolatus began to melt 'You have won Moxie- I am so not a match for you and your heated sword' All that was left was a puddle of chocolate, marshmallow eyes,graham cracker claws, and the dragon's flameproof mouth. Smiling to herself, Moxie laughed and said 'Smores for everyone'

I'm Engaged!!!!

Oh I have been feeling an extra spring in my step over the last several weeks. That is because I have met and fallen in love with a handsome puggerman named Curlie Moe. He is so dreamy and wonderful, and everything a girlypug could ever want. Just knowing him made me feel wonderful, but things became even better one week ago tonight. At the F.L.O.P Tiki Club sleepover party last week, Curlie Moe and I went for a walk on the beach. Just when the sun set over the water, Curlie Moe asked me to marry him. I was so excited, and immediately said yes. My heart was so filled with lub for my wonderful man. Now comes the time to make plans. There are many formal plans still to be made, but we are for sure on the date and location- February 10th at the United Pug Foundation (U.P.F.) group (where we met and fell in love). I am so excited to marry the love of my life.

I'm the It's A Pug's World Pug of the Week!!!!

Oh my pugness, I am very excited. I was named the Pug of the Week for It's A Pug's World. This is such a special thing for me because I have spent a lot of time this past week trying to help everyone get this group going strong. To think I get to represent it this week makes me very proud. I get a Princess Party Thursday to celebrate my happy week. I am trying to plan a beautiful outfit, and I am sitting by waiting to see if any handsome manpug will invite me to be his date. This is all really cool.

Moxie's Great Pumpkin Adventure

It was a chilly Halloween and Moxie and her Mommy had just finished giving out candy. Feeling quite, um, pooped, Moxie went to find a nice secluded place to take care of some business. She went around the corner of the bushes and started sniffing, but there, among the brush, was a big pumpkin. Moxie thought to herself "Hey, where did that come from". She inspected the pumpkin a little more, and found a note taped on it. It said "This is the Great Pumpkin, and it will make strange things happen." Moxie thought that was just nonsense, so she went in the house with her Mommy and went to find her Bobo. When Moxie got to her toys, however, Bobo was missing. Moxie went into a state of panic. She ran through the house, looking and looking for Bobo. She heard some noise, and thought it was her sister Gracie playing with Bobo. Feeling angry, she went into the kitchen, and there was Bobo, bobbing around the table.....by HIMSELF.!!!!!! Moxie let out a bark, and Bobo dropped....followed by a giggle. A ghost had played with Bobo. Moxie's Mommy was pretty scared, so she remembered the pumpkin. She went outside, broke the pumpkin, and went back in the house. That was the end of their weird evening, and everything went back to normal.

My First Summer Was Great Because

My first summer was great because I got to really get to know my family. Mommy and Daddy took me to meet my Nanny and her students, and my Uncle and Aunt and their human boys. I really loved playing with them, even though I got a little too excited with Nanny... lets just say she has a little scar now. But she said I was just being a puppy, and that I didn't mean to hurt her. I nipped her ankle to get her attention, and I think I did. I hope to get to see her again soon. My family really loves me and they made my first summer a really happy one.

The Big Spay

Well, the big event has happened!! I am now officially spayed. It all started yesterday morning when Mommy woke me up and put me on my leash and took me outside to potty. That all seemed normal but then Daddy woke up and we went back outside and got in the car, and went to the vet lady. I was not liking that AT ALL, so I started throwing a puppy tantrum. The vet lady walked away for a minute and when she walked back I felt a sharp sting on my hip. I cried for a minute but Mommy cradled me, and then I started getting really drowsy. She handed me to the vet lady's assistant, and that was the last time I saw Mommy yesterday. Later on they made me go even more to sleep, until I didn't know what was happening. The next thing I knew I was awake again with these little thingies sticking out of my tummy. I was really sore, but I was ready to play anyway. When Mommy called to check on me they told her that I was trying to play, and she said that didn't surprise her. I went to sleep later and when I woke up this morning the vet lady fed me and the next thing I see is Mommy. I was a little mad at her and gave her trouble getting my harness on. She had to wait 'til we got home to put it on me so I could potty. She gave me some more food, and it made me sleepy cause she put something called a pain pill in it. Overall I feel okay, but I'm still sore. Mommy says I have to take it easy, and I don't like that. She says in a week I go back to the vet lady and get those thingies taken out, and I can't wait because they are uncomfortable. I can't wait 'til I recover and I can play rough with everyone again, but until then I'm gonna take it easy and enjoy getting pampered.

Tomorrow is the big day!!!

I am very nervous right now. Mommy is taking me to the vet tomorrow and I am getting spayed!! A lot of people and doggies have told me that I will be o.k., but I am still scared. Mommy talked to the vet the other day and she made Mommy feel a lot more comfortable, but I think she is still nervous too. I will give an update in my next entry.
