Arrival Story:
I finally convinced hubby that we needed a dog. So off to the humane society we went. We looked at many dogs and went back several times (and watched the website). Hubby always wanted a JRT for some reason and we found a few but the personality just wasn't right. He went on a Tues and found Gracie. Took a coworker (who also was a vet) and she said that Gracie would be a good dog. So all she needed was my stamp of approval. I took off work early and got there just in time (before they closed) and spent some time with her and said ok. Hubby knew I would like her and had filled out all the paperwork and written out the check so they wouldn't let anyone else adopt her. We left her there to be spayed but turns out that she was already spayed. Gracie wasn't a year old but was spayed, house broken and crate trained. Someone lost a really good dog...their loss our gain! Gracie came to live with us 10/30/03
