 Quick Bio:
Likes: Being a therapy dog, playing with my toys and Mom and Dad and giving kisses. And, of course, cuddling up next to Mom under the covers to go to sleep. Mom calls me velcro dog.

Pet-Peeves: Getting my teeth brushed, going to the vet and not being able to find a warm lap to take a nap on.

Favorite Toy: Tennis ball, red fuzzy bone and anything that squeaks.

Favorite Food: Chicken and popcorn and knows them by name.

Favorite Walk: Down a hospital or nursing home corridor

Best Tricks: waving bye bye, rolling over, playing dead dog, holding a treat on her nose and catching it.

Arrival Story: Molly was born in Arizona and now lives in MI. She had a bit of adjustment to get used to rain, snow and cold. Molly thinks she is the Queen and is spoiled rotten. As you can see from her pictures, she is a real ham and loves to pose. If you attempt to make the bed before she is ready to get up, she just stretches out and looks at you like if you want me to move, you'll have to move me. Of course, we take no reasonability for spoiling her royal highness.

Bio: Molly is a registered therapy dog and visits a cancer/bonemarrow transplant unit at a large childrens hospital and also several nursing homes. Molly loves to dress up for her visits and has an outfit for every season. Even though the kids are very sick, they just love Molly and all her tricks. She is on call and is sometimes asked to cuddle with a dying child. Molly has such an instinct for kids in need. Molly was named therapy dog of the month for Dec. 2005.

Boy, you won't believe what happened to me the other day. I was making my therapy dog rounds, and I went to see a lady from church who has been very ill and can't get out anymore. Well, she is living with her daughter and son-in-law and they have seven cats. That's right seven cats!!!!!! Now I like cats, but seven cats in one house all looking at me is way to much for me. One of the cats sat on the dining room table staring at me. Well, I finally could not stand it anymore and let out a big whine. My mother wasn't too happy with me cause therapy dogs are not suppose to whine. Thank goodness the lady laughed cause it saved me from a scolding. I hope I don't have to visit there anymore. After that experience, I am not so sure I like cats. They sure are stand offish. I would have like to run and play with them.

I was coming out of the hospital the other day in my scrubs, after I had made my rounds, and a photographer stopped me and asked me if they could take my picture. Now being that I am such a ham, I really posed for them. What fun that was cause I got a treat. In today's mail, I got a check from the advertising agency for my pictures. I now have a modeling portfolio. Gosh it is fun to be famous. I am really getting spoiled rotten from all of the attention. I sure have all of these humans around me wrap around my little paw. They are going to be using my pictures on the Univerisity of Michigan Hopital web site. The things a girl can do when she sets her mind to it. They still spell the word dog around me cause they think I don't know that I am one. My cousin let it slip one day.

Molly has been nicknamed Dr. Molly by the children at the cancer center she visits. She loves the kids and they love her. Sometimes they are too sick to raise their heads, but they always have a smile for Dr. Molly. She wears her scrubs and a stethescope and makes her rounds. She was recently featured on the front page of our home town paper for her work at a local nursing home. She was sitting on the lap of a gentlemen 96 years old who was petting her and his smile was from ear to ear. She also was featured on Channel 4 T.V. out of Detroit for her work at the cancer center of the Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan. Molly is such a fun dog and our job of spreading joy to others - well it just doesn't get any better than that. Molly is very well behaved, but she is the queen. She knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. She loves to play but only on her schedule. Our laps are hers to nap on. If we disturb her, she pouts. We love her even though she has us wrapped around her little paw.
