What a Great Time!!

So I finally recovered from my partying this past weekend! I had a pawsome time at the 6th Annual TOTTSHR Tails Hike! Mom says I did really well and she says we can definitely go back again next year!! WOO HOO!! Best part of this weekend was not only did we help raise lots of money for my rescue pals but I also won lots and lots of great treats and things---although mom has said I can only have one treat a day!(little does she know that Grandpop will slide me some while she is at work..wink wink! Grandpop is an easy target these days---I think I need to work on Grandmom---I love a challenge!) But back to my weekend--so we spent the day at the hike, and my Aunt took me around while mom worked the hike silent auction table. Mom says I overdid it and I'm not as young and fit as I used to be--I hate it when she is right but my hips are still kind of sore! But oh man was it a blast!! I can't wait until next year!!

WOOWW It's been a long long time!

So I finally got mom to let me on the compoter---hhmph! She has been hogging it all to herself since her knee surgery! Well, I guess that's understandable since she wans't able to go anywhere!

Now down to important business! My mom has allowed me to register in the Tails On The Traisl Hike again this year!!! One minor substitution, my Aunt Denise will be walking with me this year instead of mom. Mom's leg won't be up to a hike by then---but she wuill be helping out all of my great friends at Tails of the Tundra by working the event from a chair somewhere!

So much time--so much happening

Okay so sorry I have been M.I.A. recently but mom has been so busy--she hasn't let me near the puter.

So where to start ...mmm.. well for starters back in Sept mom took me to the Tails on the Trails hike for the Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue--I had a great time it was so exciting to see my dogster pals and all of the other husky pups. Mom says I still need to learn more manners around everyone because I'm not good at being friends--HA--me not friendly? Ridiculous!! It's just that I am a princess and the other pups never seem to respect me--always sniffing me in places I don't condone.

The hike was a great time though and I won top prize for pledges--it seems I know how to work humans at least! I got this awesome basket of goodies and my mom got some goodies too!! Thanks TOTTSHR for the awesome time and treats!!!

So next comes mom's knee surgery--I'm not sure what that is but all I know is mom has been home alot--yet she refuses to walk me or play with me--can you imagine??!! Worst of all she will not let me lay with her in bed while she watches tv all day---hmmph! I mean really--it's like she is ignoring me. She keeps saying that I am to "rammie" around her knee right now--what does that mean?? Anyway, my grandpa has been taking me out alot lately but he won't take me on walks --says he too old??!! Oh well, at least he is a pushover--he does whatever I want --all I have to do is bark--BOL!!!

So that's the latest here at the palace--I'll try to keep ya all up to date more often!

Vet Visit

Sorry I have not been in touch --I have been thorough some rough things this week. I have had this itching problem on my stomach for a week now--mom says thats why she gave me a bath too. She thought I had "natives" as she calls them--to us they are known as fleas. If she had only asked me, I would have told her that there was no way a flea would dare to reside on a princess. Imagine me, royalty, with "natives", really!
Well since mom determined that I was pest free--she said I needed to go to the vet. AH! That is the is the only thing royalty fears---THE VET! EEEEWW! i'm shuddering just thinking about it! Happy thoughts!!
Sorry--okay I'm better. So turns out vet said I had probably been bit by something and he gave me a shot! Oh---again--Happy Thoughts!!
He gave my mom some antihistamine pills and sent me home.
Today though my mom was checking me--she is always bothering me while I'm getting my beauty sleep! Mom found a lump on my belly and some sort of rash and scabs. And oh the horror--back to the vet again!
This time was even more horrifying the last---this time they shaved my belly!! Oh the indignity of it!! Again--Happy thoughts!!!
After that humiliation was over they told my mom that the lump was of some concern--and if does not go away with some antibiotics, then they have to remove it! YIKES!!! They gave my mom some antibiotics for me and graciously let me leave! I can tell my mom is worried. She 's been keeping a close eye on me today.
Now mom says we have to keep our fingers and paws crossed that my rash and lump go away with the meds!

Bath...I don't need a bath!

Hi all! Just want to tell you all about my holiday! The day started out just fine-hu-mom was being sooo nice to me. She brushed me and rubbed my ears--ahh the life of a princess! Then it got ugly. She started saying bath alot and I knew I was in trouble. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy baths--outside that is--inside not soo much! Hu-mom insisted that I need to get one indoors though--she was babbling on and on about getting me ready for the hike---how a princess needed to be clean and white! HA!, as if I will not be the star at the hike? So I humored her and went along with it. Now I am sparkling white and more beautiful than ever! Won't mom be upset when I roll in the grass my grandfather just cut? Hehehehe!

Where do I start.....

Okay so I thought it was about time I told you all about life in my palace...after all how many times do you get an insight into a Princess' life. Yes I am royalty, although my hu-family would like to believe otherwise. Make no mistake about it I rule my house!
So let's start with what is currently going on in my realm--my hu-mom has been working very hard at helping me raise pledges for our 3rd trip to the TOTTSHR Hike.(Which I am looking forward too very much!) I tell you it is hard work looking this cute--but hu-moms friends eat it up--they are more than willing to help me when I flash'em my blues.
