Arrival Story:
Stevie was rescued from the Marion County, WV shelter in December of 2002. His original owners dumped him off there one day - said a blind dog was too much trouble. He'd probably been chained outside or let run loose - he had no idea what a leash was or how to walk on one. Since then he's gotten used to life as a spoiled couch potato.

Bio:
He does have very severe separation anxiety (hey you would too if you were blind and your family abandoned you in a strange place) so he gets further spoiled by going to doggie daycare while I'm at work. Stevie also rides along on my long-haul rescue transports from Lexington,VA north to Baltimore.
