The poor abused dog had a chain around her neck with her name on it-- Rubie. About ten minutes after arriving at the DiD center, poor Rubie gave birth to six healthy puppies. Two months later, four of the pups and a much healthier, happier Rubie were rehomed in England through DBARC (www.dbarc.org.uk), and two of the siblings were sent to Sweden. That's us!
Mom and dad picked out Irish names to honor our heritage. My name means "dark-haired" -- cool, huh? Bio: When I was a tiny puppy, I was best buddies with the rescuer's five-year old son. He's the one who named me Princess, so mom incorporated it into my name.
