She hates to eat her little bites...she wants people food....because that's what Sadie thinks she is: People!

Arrival Story:
When my husband and I first moved to Houston, I was heart broken and home sick for Arkansas. I visited my Daddy's house every chance I got. Once day when I was visiting, we went to Camden and I visited the pet store. There was a batch of puppies. Sadie was definitely the ugliest pup. She looked up at me with these sad eyes and I could hear her say, "Please get me out of here. There's no bones, no toys, it is HELL!" I went home and called Kevin. I told him that this white dog with one brown ear needed me. I begged. I pleaded. I cried. He gave in. So I went back and got this little white pup. Kevin was studying for the Texas Bar and I told Sadie she had to be quiet while her Daddy studied. Well, she was so good! I was was so proud. But....she was too good. She was sleepy and listless. We took her to the vet even though we really didn't have the money to spare...and she was full of worms. The vet didn't think he could save her but she pulled through and became the Alpha Dog of the Lemley bunch.
