Likes: Lassie movies, silly puns, goats, whoopi cushions, herding dust bunnies and baby carrots, acting goofy, being the alpha dog, having the last woof, and lots of belly rubs and ear scratches.
Pet-Peeves: Baths, walking on wet grass, that we don't have cable, suspenders, Elvis impersonators, celery, not having everyone's undivided attention, and the words "No, Yoshi! No!"
Favorite Toy: Her Kong and anything that squeaks and can be chewed to pieces, but especially her Booda cow and her Planet Dog cloth bone. She also loves her Hide-a-Squirrel and Hide-a-Bee toys.
Favorite Food: Baby carrots, organic corn flakes, prunes, pancakes, apples, Fritos, watermelon, green beans, chalupas and, of course, Milk Bones.
Favorite Walk: Anywhere/anytime, but especially the backyard, and she loves to run at full speed up and down the driveway.
Best Tricks: She pretends not to know any, but she's really smart. She will, when she wants something, resort to frantic paw waving as a way of getting my attention. She also excels at playing "Find the Frito."
Arrival Story: Yoshi came into my life after a "just looking" visit to a Humane Society shelter. She had been given up by her previous family at six and a half months old and was untrained, stubborn and unruly. She is still stubborn and unruly, but I love her dearly. And regarding her name: Well, it's beyond me how a female Welsh Corgi came to have a male Japanese name, but--as odd as it seems--it somehow fits her.
Bio: Yoshi is a clown who loves to make people laugh. She is a bundle of energy and rarely stops moving. She also possesses other typical Corgi traits: She is strong-willed and bossy, but oh so lovable! She is a wonderful pup.

I heard on the news tonight that HRH Queen Elizabeth is coming to the US tomorrow! I wonder if she'd like another Corgi. Not that I don't love my home, but I can picture myself living like the true princess that I am. BOL!
I finally got to see the movie THE QUEEN. I had to wait until it came out on DVD since Mom says that most dogs (including me) aren't allowed in movie theaters.
Well, I loved it...the scenes with the Corgis that is. What a hoot they are. They are Pembrokes, but not tri-colored like me. They smile a lot and jump a lot, just like regular Corgis, yet they are Royal Corgis! And, boy, do they ever mind HRH! She just has to say, "Dogs!" or "Out!" and they mind her. They sure know who rules. BOL!!!
Mom says I can watch NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM tomorrow. Can't wait to see the T-Rex!
