Arrival Story:
Emma won our hearts! It is one of those adoption stories, where you keep telling yourself you don't need another animal, but then one comes into your life. There were even signs--like so much traffic that we arrived at the rescue facility too late the first day to adopt--that we didn't need another dog. Yet, here we have Emma; she was meant to be here. After a stint in a shelter, an adoption that only lasted two weeks before she was relinquished, then the rescue facility that took her in, she arrived at our house. Despite having at least four homes in the last two months, she is very sweet, affectionate, and eager to please. And, the most important, she and Annie were instant friends.
