Arrival Story:
We had recently purchased a home, and, as our daughter was turning 7, we decided to start looking for a cute pupmutt we could adopt and enjoy. We found her in a no-kill shelter one dark and stormy night (hence the name Storm) and found out later on when we got home that she was sick. For almost a week she had diarrhea and a little vomiting. The vet checked her and said just a bug, so the next week she was indeed better, after giving her hamburger and rice for a week. She was so cute, kind of like a lion with her ruff all the way around her face.
Bio:
Due to a situation beyond my control at the time, Storm bit a child who had been living in my home for over a week already, and shown no aggression toward anyone except barking. This child started playing with Storm with her toys...and Storm in her love of toys went after the toy, and bit the child in the nipple area. We were told that we either would receive large fines and jail time, or we could surrender the dog to the animal control and be destroyed. Well, it destroyed us as well. We miss you Storm, play safe and have fun at the Rainbow Bridge...it's safe there...
