Big Sister

Well I'm not sure sure I like this big sister job. Mom and dad don't have as much time to play with me and all the presents coming into the house are for her...sulk. She is kind of cute and tastes real good, but I really miss the old days. Sometimes I steal her binky or her stuffies...mom get real mad. Hehehehe...but I'm the big sister!

Let it snow

Mommy said I did the cutest thing this morning. See my husky genes have come out full force this winter in the snow. I get so happy and never want to come inside. I woke up this morning and looked out the window, ad saw....................Snow! I started wagging my tail, wimpering and running in circles until I got let out. Then I rolled and pounced and played. There isn't a whole lot on the ground, but I only need a light coating to feel like I'm in heaven. Mommy said I can go outside and play for longer later today. I do hope a little more snow falls before then.

Stupid lil buggers

Well, I'm not feeling so hot these days. Apparently even with my Frontline and Interceptor some lil tick bit me and gave me Lyme disease. The medecine I have to take makes me feel yucky too. Mommy says I'll get better soon, but I have to be patient. I'm a little bummed out, but I do love all the affection and special treats I get these days.

Warm Weather coming

My brother Syd has been going to private school because he's naughty, but he's doing really well, and I'm happy that he's learning the ropes. I don't like when he shows me up, but I get even with him for that.

Mom and dad are talking about getting me into a-g-i-l-t-y training. I'm not sure what that is, but if it's fun and I get to spend special time with mom and dad like Syd does I want to do it. I think they are looking into some places and maybe I can start soon. Ooo I do hope so. I'm bored with the exercises I have to do with my brother...so pedestrian.

I'm learning to catch things in the air. I love jumping up and catching bugs too. Mommy says they don't need a bug zapper as long as I'm in the yard with them...yummy protein bugs.

Doggie Day Care

Last week my brother and I got to spend two whole days at doggie day care. I LOVED IT! And mommy was so happy to see me tuckered out for a change. I hope we get to go back there again because it is the best ever.

Syd is doing well, and I try and teach him to be a good boy all the time. He's either stubborn or dumb - take your pick. I am trying to teach him to give mommy and daddy his toys. So I make him watch me bring mommy a toy and let her take it from me. Then mommy gives me the toy back and I take it to Syd. When I try to take it back from him to give to mommy he just runs around the house with the zooms. I think he's starting to catch on though because now I bring him toys and take them from him and then give them back again...and he's starting to catch on to that. I'm hoping I can get him to stop making the Elvis at mommy and daddy when it comes to taking something out of his mouth. He's just my work in progress. This is my most recent attempt to train my brother.

He was such a good boy at day care. They like us there. We miss mommy so much though that we get all hyper when she comes to pick us up. I think mommy said it would be a few more week before we get to go back again. humpf.

Brothers

What a maroon. My brother is just plain old trouble. He came home from the vet last night with a gentle leader - heheheh- I picked on him for the rest of the night. He's been pretty naughty and mommy cried a few times because of it. I don't like when my mommy is upset, so I'm working on beating him up a little better when he's bad.

I love my brother even though he's a stinky poo. I caught him hopping the other day - he looks so funny when he does that. For a street dog he's not as tuff as me.

I'm so glad this nice weather is back. I love sitting outside under the tree nawing on twigs and bark. My brother picks tulips out of mommy's flower garden and prances around with them. He's such a dope, but he makes me laugh.

What an Oaf

Ok...so here I am all good girl and training well, loving my mommy and daddy, and learning tricks, then....wham...all of a sudden I have a brother. What a maroon as my pal Bugs Bunny would say. Geesh. I mean he's so not sofisticated.

Well, honestly, I think I like him. He doesn't know anything, except if you count sit and no that even our wild brotheren would know. He's clumsy and feisty and he thinks he's takin over the joint, but no way...I'm in charge here...it's kinda fun anyway sitting on him and acting all important. I think he likes it.

I've been helping mommy and daddy teach him the rules, and he's doing well, I must say. He keeps testing and being a brat, but he does seem to be catching on. I think I'll let him stay.

Smell that...SPRING

I love my new electric fence. I can go outside and run around and get into places I couldn't before. Mommy and daddy have been doing a lot of redecorating outside, and now I get to be out there with them the whole time. I even help them move the sticks and branches around - they don't like my ideas, but I like giving them the options anyways.

So this fence thing, I do like it a lot because I don't have to be attached to anyone or the post. I can run around and chase squirrels up trees and bunnies under the shed and do laps. I don't think I'm going to argue with my barrier because it does smart if I try to test it - um yeah I did try once. Daddy is a dork and wanted to see for himself what it felt like...giggle...he said it would be better if I stay in the yard, and run back if it beeps...duh...I knew that.

I can't figure out what all the green stuff with colors growing out of the ground is because it's different. I thought I'd take it to mommy to find out, but she said I should leave it. O well. She says spring is coming and I should be happy because we'll spend more time outside. Yeah!

Dog days of winter

I love the cold weather and my coat is getting long and fluffy. Mommy says she loves it, and I'm changing colors - it's like playing dress up. Mommy and daddy are getting me an electric fence in a few weeks so we can have better play time outside. I can't wait.

Happy New Year!

Well this has been an interesting few months...after I became legit, mommy and daddy kicked back and relaxed; it was nice to play and play and play. Strange enough they brought a tree inside the house and hung all these sparkly lights around. I thought I would help decorate, but mommy said she had it under control - I think I would have done a better job. Then this fat man in a red suit brought me a new bed - it's so big and fluffy and I like resting on it, but mommy and daddy's bed is still better so I can protect them from my brothers at night. I've also been learning something called manners - mommy says I have none - and some new tricks. I get bored easily though.
