The Start of a New Life

A New Home

Hello,
It has been brought to my attention that I really need to up date this page. Everyone has a new forever home. Missy, Rags, and Bear with stay here with us. Bear went to his new home and was so miserable that I had to go pick him up. He has decided that this is his forever home. So it will be here he will stay.
The Little Brindel is now Muffin and he live in Moscow Kansas with a friend.
The Little black guy lives in Liberal Kansas,
And Angel now Scooter lives in Iowa, His new Mom was visting her sister and they came out to see some foster Basset Hounds we had and it was then that Angel (now Scooter) and his Mom fell in Love. He lives on a big Farm there and is really happy.
We are all doing well and have had lots of fun and most of all we get lots of Love as well. Mom keeps telling us that we are going to have to get our house ready for winter, we tend to go crazy at times. Precious leads us to it, but she is so much fun to play with. She is like a Rocket and is really hard to catch.

Today

My Forster Mom finally got us all well. It was a close call for one of my babbies but with her Love and Good Care he is going to be Ok. Our trips out side are very short now Mom says it is to hot and I have to agree, I run out do my thing and want back in. Mom possibly has two of the babbies place one for sure. He will be going to live with her friend in Moscow. Mom says it is just 9 miles away from where we live. She was so excited he is going close. Then Mom thinks her daughter is going to take one but it will be a while till he gets there. Mom will take him down when she goes to Amarillo in Oct. I know he will have a good home if her daughter is like MOM. Mom is excited for him and knows my babby will be a good friend to her Grandson. Life is still good here Great Plains Angels for Animal brought Mom a pen for us so when the weather cools down while Mom is at home we can play out side for a while. Mom is putting the big pen out under the cotten wood tree so we can have shade. Mom is also hoping I will be able to help with potty training. That would be cool.

The Start of a New Life

Hello, My Name is Missy and I feel I am one Lucky little girl. I was found in a town by a store with six pups. Sadly one did not make it. I was taken to this place where I was scared and not for sure of what was going to happen next. Then one day this nice lady who is the founder of Great Plains Angels for Animals pick me and my babbies up. She was taking us to a new safe and warm home. We were all so very scared when we got there and did not know if we would be OK. I kept going after the man person he scared me and I did not want him near my babbies. He was very kind and he gave me the time I needed to get to know that he was not going to hurt me or the babbies. All my babbies are males. Yeah my Foster Mom says thats a first for her. She is the most kindest and loving person and she her self has taken time to show me not every one in this world is bad. She takes me out side to potty, she does not leave me alone in this big place. She has taught me how to sit- I get treats for that I really like. She has taught me that it is OK to get excited about the wonderful new things I do. And she and Foster Dad love the babbies. They are always loving on them and me at the same time.
My Foster Mom say that I do not have to leave, they will keep me here with them.
Foster Dad gets sad and says he does not want me to end up where I just came from so we will kep me where they know I am safe. They have not made up their minds if they want to keep one of the babbies, I hope they do for it will be very sad for me to see them go.
My Foster Mom had to take me to the vets, I got sick, He said he could not find any thing wrong and gave me some meds. I was doing better by the next day. How ever one of my babbies got sick, My Foster Mom kept him going she took him off every thing for the after noon only giving him pedilite and she fed him that with this speical thing she has. This morning he was doing better and took a bottle of milk. Foster Mom says he is still a little weak but he did drink some milk. She gives them a special kind of Milk, I was laying with them this morning and I was so happy he tried to nurse. This is sad for me to cause when I got sick my milk went dry. Foster Mom says we should be OK as they are getting old enough to be weaned.
I know Foster Mom will try to find them the very best possible home. She I know from being with her will se to that.
I also would like to Thank Great Plains Angels for Animals for putting me and my babbies here with my Foster Mom and to be able to know that we are Loved and Cared For very much.
