Arrival Story: My Story:
My father in-law got her from a family when she was a year old that wasn't experienced with the breed and couldn't handle her. That was also the time my now husband and I started dating, and how I got to know and love the breed. When we got married he let us keep her! She has changed the minds of everyone she has met about what they thought pit bulls were. Even my mom wasn't crazy about the idea of me being around the bullies at first, but Lucy has changed her mind! Lucy really turns heads when I let my 3yr old niece take her for walks, and she heals beautifully! (Don't worry I use 2 leashes!) Lucy is the reason I have become an advocate of the breed and decided to foster and help people who can't afford expensive training have a well behaved bully that anyone could be proud of!

I love going on nice long walks with my mommy, and my granddad. I love to get dressed up! My mommy says its hard to take me seriously with a sparklely sweater on! playing with the kid sis lots of fun too, they love to take turns taking me on walks. I get to go everywhere, even places most dogs aren't allowed cuz everyone thinks I'm so sweet, and I'm so good for my mom.

The Last Forum I Posted In: Rainy Day Activities - HELP!!
I love the breed and always will! I foster as much as I possibly can, and love to see them go to good homes. I work at a busy vet office west of Detroit. Also I have been doing the horses thing for 13yrs.
Wow the past few days have been crazy!!! First on Friday we had some nasty storms and I was so scared cuz my mommy wasn't home I followed my daddy around and hid next to him.
Saturday I didn't really do a whole lot, mommy and daddy had to go somewhere all day long. I did get to hang out with my ganddad all day though, we wen't for a bike ride and I got to do some sunbathing in the back yard!
Sunday my bestest friend came over and we wrasteled, and ran around the yard and went for a walk! I love playing with my buddy Snoop, he's a lot younger than I am, so he kinda wears me out but I still have so much fun!
Monday was really boring, I slept all day! Hey a girl needs a day off every now and then!!!
Today my human friend Jordan came over to play with me!! She tries to boss me around, but I usually just sit there and look at mommy to tell me what to do. She brushed me, and she fed me her left over mac and cheese, and she even walked me around the back yard all by herself! Then all three of us took a nap. I love nap time!!!
I hate this weather!!!! Its been raining forever!!! I did get to go out on Tues, The kid took me for a walk. But that was the only day it didn't rain! And now there are these crazy thunder storms, I don't like rain. I can't be outside getting a tan!!
And as for the poor pittie that needed a home the owner never called my mommy back. We had it all worked out, but I guess you can't help those who didn't really want it. Just today she had another person wanting to PTS their 2 oits, cuz they just didn't want them anymore!!! It's just so sad!!! Her office wouldn't do it so the person hung up before my mommy could offer any advise on finding a new home. I guess they will find someone who will:(
What an ucky day!!! It rained and rained, and I didn't get to go out for my walk. It wasn't too bad, mommy and me curled up on the couch and watched movies with daddy!! I just want it to stop raining!!!! I didn't even get to play with my buddy cuz of the rain, and I wanted to. Oh well, maybe it will be nice tomorrow. Well the foster thing would work if that pitties mommy ever calls us back!!! I finally convinced everyone to do this and now the girl won't return our calls, humm seems kinda strange. Mommy is gonna try to reach her one more time tomorrow, but we can't help those who don't want it! Well untill next time, I'm gonna go back to sleep now!!!
