Anything chewable. He looves Nylabones, and destroying anything stuffed.

Baloo will eat anything - and love it. It doesn't even have to be entirely edible, really...
Favorite Walk:
Anywhere where he can meet lots of new friends and smell lots of great smells!
Best Tricks:
Showing off all of his toys to newcomers. He MUST greet people with something in his mouth!!
Arrival Story:
Our search for a Lab puppy began late January/early February 2007. After finding a breeder with all of the qualities we were looking for, we left a deposit with her for a black male from an upcoming litter.
About a month later, a litter of 10 puppies were born. Low and behold, Baloo was the ONLY black male!!! Needless to say, we were absolutely ecstatic.
8 weeks later and he came home to live with us. He's a really great dog overall in every way, and just perfect for us. :)
Bio:
I train and compete in multiple venues, agility, obedience, rally , flyball, dock dogs and field retriever work. Somehow I STILL have energy to spare, LOL!

RULES OF THE GAME:

So.... seven random facts about me!
1. I was the third puppy born in my litter, first of the black ones (litter was black and chocolate)
2. I passed the Canine Good Neighbour test when I was just five months old. (didn't get the certificate then as you have to be 6 months, but I took it again this past summer for the certificate!)
3. I got mom interested in dog sports and activities, cause I'm just too dang smart for my own good!. It started as a small hobby, now I train in Obedience, Agility, Rally, and Retriever fieldwork. (I think she's obsessed!!)
4. I eat a raw food diet, and it has made me a healthy pup again. I used to have all sorts of problems with my ears and my... umm... "bathroom habits", but I'm all better now! And I LOVE my food!!
5. I love my big sister a lot, even though she's littler than me. Turns out little dogs are pretty cool!
6. I like to cuddle. Mom says I have really pointy elbows, so a lot of the times I have to cuddle on my side, or I'll lay in her lap on the couch on my back. :) I also LOVE to have my chest scratched, I'll put my head up, close my eyes and sigh with pleasure.
7. My very favorite food in the whole wide world is banana. I would do ANYTHING for banana, and I mean anything. The only foods mom has found that I won't eat are lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Everything else is fair game. ;)
