Arrival Story:
Mandy gave birth to Amber onJune21 1984... Amber was a full sister to Callie who was now 4 years old...Amber came into this world with the Gemini sign ..just like me and born backward just like me..so I knew she was the pup to keep..The other four pups one was given to each of my friends...Her life started happy with a Famliy to love her every moment of the day..

Bio:
Amber Ann was smart and playful..She loved her tennis balls..she would bring one a place it in your lap ..then sit a wait for you to throw it...she would sit quiety for as long as it took you to throw it for her..she had all the time in the world to watch me.. I bred Amber and in March 2 1990 she had a litter of 10 pups...a small red female was mine and her brother was given to my friend and homes were found for all... I named that Pup Carrie Ann..as the day follow..Amber and Carrie were so close ..it was a great family..the 4 of them and Me..When Amber was 10 Mandy crossed the bridge and when she was 12 years old. .. Callie went to join her Mother on the Bridge...and it was just Me and Amber and Carrie..and in 1997 ..just less than a year..my life fall apart...Amber collasped..I rushed her to the vet..test were run on her..maybe a infection so they treated her for that...weak but better..i had to help her up..i noticed where i pick her up she had brusing..recheck at the vet and showed them the brusing which was worst...she was ultrasound and was found to have a tumor on her spleen...Cancer:splenic nemangiosarcoma...masses on her liver and spleen....she was anemic and was given a tranfusion...and I was told there was no real hope that as soon as her body used up the transfusion blood ...she would get weak and the cancer was moving so rapily through her body ..if it reach her brain..it would be wrong to let that happen..I was told take her home..but no longer than a week ..before I needed to make my decision...The worst week of my life..watching her a little stronger to not even be able to lift her head up..how could this happen one day she was playing with Carrie and me to the next day this....i gave her and Carrie a week...I stay home from work and just loved her...and then I helped end her pain..I took her back to the vets..it was a short drive but it seems like a million miles away..I held her in my arms and kissed her goodbye and told her I loved her and she licked my hand...oh that was the worst thing you ever have to do...I bought my baby home and me and Carrie buried her by the pond..and you know went to work at that vet office in 1999 and adopted a yellow Lab named "DAISY" that was Amber blood donor..of course I didn't even remember that till now...funny how fate works.....Amber Ann you were a true and loyal parnter..one day I will cross that Bridge and my famliy will be waiting..till then..my Love...till then..I Miss You.
