Arrival Story:
My family and I were looking for a puppy, I was 3 1/2 years old, my sister was 6 years old. We went to a shelter and saw a litter of puppies. There was a female, that was the only one, that had markings. We named her Lola after hearing the song "Lola, she was a showgirl" in the car on the way home. The shelter said she was a poodle terrier mix. I believe she was a sheltie terrier mix.

Bio:
She was loved by the family and relatives. Our other dog, Shadow, came to live with us when Lola was almost 11 years old. I think he helped Lola to live a little longer. Sadly, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in January of 1996, at the age of 15 years old. She is still missed, even after being gone for a long time.Shadow has just joined her. They can play with each other.
