Summer Vacation August 2008

Well I have been a busy pup lately so I have not been on here. I am also on DOGBOOK and that site has kept me so busy. Anyways like most of you I am ready for a holiday. This summer I am going to Canmore with mommie and my Aunt Ruby. I am so excited. We are staying in a condo due to a nice lady allowing me stay there. I can't wait to go on the Banff Gondola again even though it scares me a little, the boat trip on Lake Minnewanka, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake as well many other areas and of course my fave...Canmore off leash dog park. I look forward to seeing my old friends there and making new ones. For those going to Canmore/Banff area....dogs get to ride free on the Banff Gondola and the boat trip on Lake Minnewanka as long as you are on a leash. Its worth it pups. More when I come back.

TODAY IS MY 2ND BIRTHDAY

WOW! I can't believe I am 2 yrs old. Where has the time gone. Today my b'day wish came true.....I asked for snow and woke today to find SNOW!!! I was so excited that I ran outside with my housemate and pal Murphy. Boy did we run and run in it as well slide across the grass in the snow. I also had to take time out and eat it too. SORRY mommie I will never out grow this one.

I got some dog candy from Murphy, homemade soup from my Nanna with homemade bun.....OH YUMMO!!!! with 2 sugar cookies for dessert (thanks mommie for making the cookies for me). As well some pigs ears and a HUGE birthday huge and kiss from my mommie and Nanna. I am such a SPOILED BOY and so LUCKY to have my family who loves a CRAZY & SILLY LOVING Beagle.

WHEW! what an awesome day I had. Its great being alive and loved.

Mom came home from Scotland....WHEW!!!!

I was so glad to see my mom when she came to the Pet Resort to pick me up. I ran around like crazy and then had to give her a million kisses or so it seemed. She picked me up in here arms and gave me a big hug. BOY! did I EVER miss her. Once we got settled at home she showed me all the dog treats she brought home for me. I have never seen any of them and she told me that I wouldn't again unless she went back. There was one that I had never tasted before and it was a soft chewy stick that was lamb flavour. It was yummie. My favorite gift besides having my mom home from Scotland was the beautiful wool blanket she gave me. I loved it! Its so warm and I like to cuddle in it. I also like to try out her wool blanket too from time to time. I got to hear of all the places she went over there and some that I would enjoy if I could of came along. All in all I am so glad she came home and is with me.

Holidays are a coming! (Sept 8/07)

Well I don't know whether to be excited or sad that I am going to ROOM TO RUN! while my mommie goes to Scotland for 2 weeks with my grandparents. I like the pet resort and the people there are nice but I will miss my mommie. This is the longest we have been apart. I hope she comes back for me and not leave me there. At least I will have my best friend Murphy there with me. So I will have a part of home with me and someone to play with besides the other doggies I don't know. I am sure I will make some new friends. Well I guess whether I like it or not I am going in 5 days......YIKES!!!! If I go MIA could someone contact my Daddyo **** Oakley to come find me. Thanks!

My weekend (Sept 1 &2/07)

Well I had a good start to the weekend at least in my opinion. I found alot of goodies to roll in out in the hills. But from what I heard in the car all the way home - my pal Murphy & Grandpa were not impressed. When I got home I knew it was going to be bath time. But mommie suprised me and gave me a cloth bath- never had one before but I will next time.

I playing with my new alien toy that mommie got me until Murphy came along and took it from me. So we ended up having a nice game of tug o war and chase. Out of the blue he ripped off the purple thingy to my alien. I was not impressed and chased him. I guess I deserved it since I bit him a few times on the way to the car to go to the hills.

And to end of my weekend I had a nice day at home with my mom. I got to lay on the deck and work on my tan. As well spent some good quality cuddling time with mommie. For supper I got one of my favorites....YUMMO!
I got 2 corn on the cob. Mommie cut the corn off as I have yet to figure out how to pull the corn off without putting the whole cob in my mouth.

Well I am off to bed its been a busy one!
