Arrival Story: We lived in Arkansas in 1997 and where we were staying a pickup of two men with a back bed full of pups came up into our yard, (they saw the big lollipop on the top of our house I guess, seeing we were from California). They told us that if we wanted the pups we could have them and if not they were either going to turn them loose in the woods or shoot them........well, needless to say, we adopted the whole dang litter. They were shared among the family , and now we have 3 left of these dogs in California, and placed the one who was too big to be in my small California city yard, on a cattle farm in Arkansas. We had these lovely dogs since they were 5 weeks old and blue eyed babies.

Sweet Caroline is an 11 year old basset hound/border collie...
She's just a sweet little princess and is as cute as can be.
She loves dog cookies and toy tossing...
And, anything and everything!
Today, April 1st, is her woofday and she deserves the very best...
Doing whatever she wants to do or even just taking a rest!
So, many want to send much happiness to Sweet Caroline, too!
