My birthday!!

Today is my 4th Birthday!!! It was a great day, 60 degrees and sunny!! Mom and Dad took Heidi and I on a long walk on a bike path we hadn't been on before. There were all kinds of new smells. Mom wouldn't let me chase the geese though...darnit. Then we got to go to Petco and pick out new birthday toys! I really didn't care so Mom picked out a green froggy and a hedgehog. I can't wait to tear out the squeekies in them.

It was a great day. I am now lounging by the front door watching my neighborhood.

Well today Mom noticed that there were little moving white things in my poop. So she rushed it to the Vet. Heidi and I have been having problems with diaherra but have been fine the last few days.

The vet said that I have more bad bacteria than I should but since I haven't had diaherra he didn't want to put me on unnecessary antiobiotics. So Heidi and I are on a new food. It's low residual...not sure what that means....but if we don't have any problems on it then we will get to go back to our old food. I don't know....I like the new food. I feel fine. Mommy is really worried though. I will give her extra loves to calm her.

Tricked!!

Earlier this week Mom turned a mean trick on Heidi and me. She told us to get into the car. THE CAR!!! That means an off leash walk!! WHOO HOO!!! As we drove I was getting more and more excited. I voiced my opinion about how excited I was too.

When we pulled into a parking lot that I recognized I was NOT happy! It was the VET!! What did I do? I have been good!! Well most of the time. I didn't want to go in and made Dad drag me in the door.

I barked and growled at the tech when he came in. I just don't like him and I didn't want him near Heidi. They made me go first and I rode the bed up up up. Mom held my paw and face so I would feel less nervous but it didn't work. Then, all of a sudden, I got a treat and we left! Well that wasn't so bad. We got a clean bill of health. The Vet said I didn't have to have my teeth pulled like Mom worried. I even lost 3 pounds!!! Mom said something about that helping me keep my hips healthy.

So today Mom has promised us a REAL off leash walk as it will be 50 degrees. We also get to go to Petco tomorrow to shop for our secret Valentine. I am SOOO excited. I guess I'd better be good, at least for awhile.
