A Day In the Life of Miles

First Bath!

Yesterday, I had my first bath. It was just about torture. At least it seemed like it at first. After a couple minutes I thought it was ridiculous, but I humored mom. I wasn't even that dirty to begin with! Oh well, I guess it wasn't SO bad. Afterwards Mom and I got to cuddle in a nice warm towel for awhile so that was fun. When we went out to potty after my bath, I rolled around in the grass, and boy did that feel nice! Mom wasn't too happy with me though!.....

First Time at the Vet

I went to the vet Wednesday and boy oh boy was it weird! We walked in, and there were so many other dogs! I wanted to play with them, but mom wouldn't put me down! She's always making sure other dogs won't get me. I know she's just watching out for me, but I can take them! So what if they're 10 times bigger than I am!?

Anyway, after a couple minutes we went into this room, and mom put me on this metal table. It felt nice and cool on my feet! Then this really nice lady weighed me. I weigh 9 pounds exactly! Woohoo! Not for long though! Then this OTHER nice lady came in...and she felt my tummy and stuff, and it was kind of annoying. No worries though, it didn't take her but a couple seconds. After that, they gave me a treat which LOOKED like it was dipped in canned cat food. It SMELLED like it too. YUCK. I took one sniff and said, "NOOOO WAY" am I eating that treat with that wet stuff on it! Then I got a shot in my butt, and I didn't even move.

Everyone was so proud of me. I was such a brave boy! Wooohooo. On the way home, I was soo pooped I fell asleep in the car. Woohooo, the vet isn't half bad!
